Sjono kingdom hearts isnt a spin off of final fantasy as since its a mix of the 2 styles you could argue its a Disney game spin off as well. Kingdom hearts has like 90% Disney and 10% final fantasy. World is a actual spin off of the series and sora being in the game is purely as a dlc metal not an actual character in the game. People wanted sora in dissidia 012 as well but when you look at the style the game has and its existing cast sora stands out to much and just wouldnt fit in to either the story or in gameplay.

That percentage seems off since when you look at the various gameplay elements various things are taken from Final Fantasy. No shit WoFF is a spin-off. Every game that features Final Fantasy characters crossing over is a spin-off. Sora is still in the game as well other mainline and spin-off FF characters. Of course he’s DLC and not in the plot because like I said, he’s owned by Disney. Every character from the first two Dissidia games came from mainline titles. The third upcoming Dissidia title would be the first to include characters from Final Fantasy spin-off games. And don’t try to tell me Sora can’t fit into the gameplay of Dissidia.

I do think it would be a good idea to help promote Kingdom Hearts 3, as already mentioned, but not really sure if they'd go through with the effort. I mean who would be his rival/enemy counterpart? There are like 30 different characters you could choose from!! Not to mention that knowing Square Enix with their stupidity in World of Final Fantasy how the English version Sora doesn't speak at all, despite how easily they could've just used existing audio files from one of the Kingdom Hearts games. Only in the Japanese version of the game does he actually have lines; and then there's the English version of Kingdom Hearts Unchained X not having many proper voices. I just don't think they would put in the full effort for the English version of the game, and that's even assuming they decide to add him in as a character which would require lots of work for fighting, animation and so on. I can already see it now, exclusive DLC for the Japanese title only. Something tells me that it would be half assed and only serve to piss us hopeful fans off more... 😐

Aye, it’s my hope that after release they will add, Gabranth, Caius Ballad and Arydn as antagonists. It would be foolish to just have the first 10 games villains only. So far theres 28 Characters, 18 of which are heroes. The end goal being around 50 characters I believe so I imagine the first DLC’s will be villains.

They are going to add all of the previous characters (sans Feral Chaos) as well as dozens of new characters. They're just shipping the PS4 version now so we can have it already, since it's technically been out in japan arcades for 2 years. They're going to add the characters over time to our version through both paid and unpaid dlc (though they haven't said who will be what yet)

(1.) I was just now looking up the previous characters on the dissidia wiki. and apparently Aerith was there? what? I never knew that. but I doubt this means anything though right? this doesn't mean that shes coming to dissidia nt does it? (2.) how come Shantotto and Gabranth was in the first one? and why were they eachothers rivals? why did Vaan come in the second one? and who is Shantotto's real actual rival supposed to be? (3.) why didn't the developers make Cosmos playable like Chaos? and there probably not going to be in dissidia nt are they? And do you think that both Materia and Spiritus are going to be playable?

Kuroi Nova kayz. And i never understood that why was chaos playable and not cosmos? At the very least they could have made cosmos an assist summon just like they did aerith. And im wondering if materia and spiritus are going to be useable in some way shape or form. Wether they be playable characters or assist summons. And if so. Then i also wonder if cosmos and chaos will make a return. And aerith too.
