Beating Every Souls Game using ONLY Shields

Decided to do a marathon awhile back using only Shields! Was a pretty fun run, some games were definitely a lot easier than the others. This will probably be my last video before DLC drops so I hope to see you guys all in Shadow of the Erdtree! Expect a lot of challenge content and I'll be streaming everyday at www.twitch.tv/distortion2 and on KZfaq!

I don't think there will be dlc Leak because it's digital content The leaks happened in the base game because of hard copies I remember a guy streaming on twitch or KZfaq himself fighting Radahn like 2 or 3 days before release 😂😂😂 that guy was insane

I wish he did Sekiro too, the umbrella is technically a shield, and I thought it was possible to attack with the shield in Bloodborne, does someone remember what L2 does again with that shield?

I don’t think sekiro is feasible because spirit emblems are finite.

@@Nicky-mk1nv It might be possible if you plan out who you're going to use it against 10 times before the next idol and I know for sure you can kill Snake eyes with just umbrella using project force skill, and you can purchase spirirt emblems

in demon's souls, there's a purple flame shield near the dragons in the first level. only the barbarian can use it right away, but it's great throughout the game. not a lot of options on that front

Fun fact you can actually do damage with the shield in bloodborne, it's a weird moveswap glitch that can "sometimes" happen and you'll do a shove forward, same as the weapon art for the plank shield in ds3

Correction. Sekiro DOES tecnically have a shield (Umbrella but it counts) And you can parry and deflect whit it. It doesn't do direct damage BUT if you parry enough you can stance break and kill.

I know it doesn't really count, but Logarius' Wheel counts as much a shield as the Bonewheel Shield in my eyes.

Funny how in Dark Souls 3 I don't think he has a single death, at least not all the hard bosses like the DLC bosses but then I skipped a bit into Dark Souls 2 and he has two deaths in like 5 minutes

The first half an Hour of the DS2 run was soo hilarius But i've always founds DS3 to be the easiest of the triology, the rolls are very powerfull and enemies are soo easy to stager, plus the levels are not that bad Ds2 areas can be tough at times and ds1 is soo cheeky, one wrong step, and you die by gravity, plus you can get yourself into really rough situations if you don't have the lord vessel

@@ryukomatoi69420only the bosses. Ds1 is overall harder than ds3, it’s much more punishing and also it’s pretty janky which will definitely get you killed several times. Ds2 is probably the hardest fromsoft game to date because sekiro at least is consistent once you get the hang of it.

I really wanted to like Demon's Remake considering that it was my entry into the series and my second favorite, but not being able to delete individual character saves ruined my desire to ever do multiple runs

On an off topic, it is validating to see Flamelurker give challenge runners even a little pause considering he was one of the hardest bosses back in the day. About an equal number of people needed help with him as they did with Demon King Allant. (Though most people needed help with the end of Boletaria just for the dragon kill)

Hey, what about the Sekiro shield, it can attack, sure you can't get to it without mods, but it can parry and deal damage, if you mod it in in the beginning of the game and maybe put infinite spirit emblems you could beat the game I think 😂

Я как-то делал "косплей-прохождение" на героя щита из анимэ "Восхождение героя щита" в Elden Ring. В целом - игралось прикольно и вполне неплохо. Но Малению победить не смог. Терпения не хватило.
