Jenova was truly terrifying. You can hear the madness setting in when the instruments first start up, and then it gets even more chaotic just after two minutes in.

At first it sounded like something out of a Tim Burton movie, then it turned Kingdom Hearts with that choir, and ended like the score of a James Bond movie. EPIC!

Her head was with him in the Lifestream. What they were calling her "head" in FF7: AC was actually just a large cluster of her cells that they collected in the case. You can verify the first statement from the scene in the original game where he's seen falling into the Mt. Nibel reactor with her head, and the second was a statement from the makers of the film in the "making of" portion. "We were trying to come up with something to call it, but 'head' just kind of stuck."

For those who think this version is a bit "tame" - try out the rendition of _Symphonic Odysseys_ (Disc 2, track 6). It's the second part of the FFVII-Battle Suite, you can also find it here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pa2EmJimt9_LmZ8.html The choir is really ominous and the mad xylophone... listening to the _Symphonic Odysseys_ version I'd say that J-E-N-O-V-A's Theme really can shine played by a full orchestra!

Meh. If I recall... Hojo created Sephiroth, no? Besides, in CC, you learn Genesis manipulated him into madness... And also, yeah he has been infused with Jenova's cell but I wonder why it wasn't written in the files that Lucrecia was his real mom, not this alien bitch. At some point, I'm sure Jenova's cell reacted to his weak mental state back then and got in motion
@chrisn.d.p33345 жыл бұрын
My point is that yeah, Sephiroth has been an experience from the start but he went just fine! He didn't get cruel and sadistic like Kefka did after his Magitek transfusion... Don't get me wrong, I love Sephiroth just as much as any fan of the saga. But there are just things that seems off to me... But that's just my humble opinion :)

100% agreed. Although there is no confirmation from square, the dialogue between Squall and Ultimecia in Dissidia is so alluring if you know that theory. First thing Squall says is "I came here to fulfill my promise."(inside Ultimecia's castle) And then Ultimecia's last line before they fight is.... "Shall we dance?"

@redcloud02 I got mixed feelings. While yes, more intensity might do something, it'd be changing a good viewpoint of the original. For what this one sets out to do, I think it works. Not saying different is bad, just that giving a little twist while staying close to the original feeling works out alot of times.

I wouldn't say systema sephirotica (tree of life or Sephirothic System Of Ten Divine Names) where each "sephiroth" is a manifestation of god is being tenuous, and developers have been quite forthcoming that they took name from kabbalah because it described well Sephiroth's relation to every human out there: there was simply no one greater and no one above him; this is because he is also shown to be taller than anybody else and also why he's the only FF7 character that is left handed.

@Sainare DM; NC. (Doesn't matter; not cannon.) Square already said that Rinoa isn't Ultimecia. There's no point trying to argue the theory now. I liked the theory when I first heard it, but since it's been proven to be untrue, then let's leave it at that.
