The "nobody told them they can't" energy in these games is truly refreshing. It's like watching a little league game and remembering that games are meant to be fun.

And then there's the low rank duels where one player does Striker Orcust shenanigans and then the opponent doesn't do anything

That moment when you realize, it didn't matter if the HERO player waited to mask change to use shadow mist and add honest neos because of creature swap LOL

Low Ranked is really interesting to watch than High Ranked for fun, you really will be surprised most of the time. First Duel: Skeletor dies at the time limit. Second Duel: White Woman Jumpscare. Third Duel: Creature Swap.

Aside from the people who save selftk bot duels for some reason, duel live is great. Most recent one I watched was a pend magician player hard throwing by pend summoning into the Equimax link arrow and passing. They had 2 bodies, idk why they passed without summoning something else but they did.

Man, that last duel convinced me to make a Graydle deck, I really wish spectate showed the decklists

I still don't climb higher that Gold 1. I don't wanna play against the diamond and platinum players, their decks are so incredibly boring. I have literary misplayed because people play the same deck so similarly that I got confused.

That was one of the most brutal throws I have even seen by the Hero player. All they had to do was target the Cipher Dragon... Edit: I can't read. God Slime prevents other cards from being targeted or attacked. He was just cooked.

I didn’t play ranked in a season once and when I went back to ranked those low ranked duelists were crazy

Low level duels are either meta humping stuff that they can't use so well, or just the most wild, unexpected deck you haven't seen in years

i like being a low rank. the only problem is that sometimes i duel a someone who plays half the cards in their deck on the first turn, fusion summons several gods of mythos, then damages me by 1000 LP if i so much as breathe on one of my cards.

In low rank I went up against a toon deck for 20 minutes funnest duel I had in long time barely won with 300 life point left 😂

I’m mostly playing in the silver and gold ranks just cause it’s fun and wild. Platinum is where it’s competitive. But let me tell you. Lol I logged in yesterday to play. And my first three games were. 1)tearlaments/ishizu my thoughts were just “wtf is this madness” 2)mayashaki full power. Dude was popping off. Lol summoned 13 out of 15 side deck lmao 3)hero’s blend. Which is masked/elemental/vision/destiny and I again I started lmao Lost to mayashaki and tear. Swept the hero’s. I love the gold rank. I always have random decks I’m facing.

actually i play meklord emperor deck and never ever have seen anyone play meklord too so i think i am the meklord overmaster when i hit the highest rank with it a lil while ago

Full disclosure: I haven't played YGO since 2006 and I'm really out of the loop. I have a question for you guys which may sound ...er....arrogant but it honestly comes from a place of curiosity. Ok so... what's the difference between low ranked and an high ranked player? If it's deck building ability, then what stops a lower ranked player from copying the deck of a higher rated player? If a low-ranked player copies the deck of an high rank player wouldn't their probability of success be exactly the same? For a game like chess, there is a 0% chance that a lower rated player would be able to beat Magnus Carlsen even if said lower ranked player copied the opening repertoire of higher rated players. Is there such a thing as a Magnus Carlsen of YGO or MTG?

That was not my experience on ladder when i was in silver/gold. In my experience low rank is full of Branded despia, swordsoul, eldich, dark magicians and blue eyes nothing more and nothung less

Exactly why i hate the time limit on master duel, you can literally be comboing and not stalling what so ever but lose to time.

Not sure if there're still a card left in extra deck that HERO player can use Cipher X as material for Super Poly. At 11:45 HERO player doesn't read that he can't target Cipher X with Sunrise's effect because it has detached 2 material last turn. HERO player should use God Slime & Shining to summon Absolute Zero. Pop Absolute Zero with Sunrise's effect to non target destroy Cipher X by making Absolute Zero leave the field. Sunrise alone is enough to get the win, What a pity.
