I have some songs distributed through Tunecore which I want to take down and re-upload via Cdbaby. Is there any way I can keep my existing stream numbers of my songs without losing it? Will re-uploading my songs through Cdbaby make my streams start from zero? Or will it stay intact if I enter the same ISRC codes as provided by Tunecore? Thanks in advance :) Pls note that I'll re-upload the same exact master file.

If you are releasing on Instagram and other social media as well, your music will be released on the same date as other music streaming platforms. Publishing is a different story altogether. I do not prefer publishing music from CDbaby, you can see my distribution vs publishing video for that, it'll be much clearer there. You can post / premiere from your insta or KZfaq, it won't make any effect on the music release date and schedule. That's a separate thing.

Hey hi. I have a personal KZfaq channel where i upload covers and am planning to upload an original for the first time. But while selecting artist profiles for apple and youtube music it shows profiles which have been automatically created as i had sung in other originals and movies. how do i select my youtube channel there. its either that auto profile or a new profile. please help

You have to select your own artist profile, your KZfaq channel won't show up there, there'll be a topic channel automatically created on KZfaq when you release your song, then you'll have to connect that topic channel with your KZfaq channel. That's how it works

@@SirGamma when I'm trying to select artist profiles it shows me 2-3 options for profiles. Spotify is correct. But apple music shows 3 profiles which were automatically created not by me, and KZfaq music has one profile which also was automatically created not by me.. so I'm just confused. Should i click on create new artist profile?

@@SakarApte In that case you should go and check those profiles on Apple Music and KZfaq and see if those were created automatically for you, if yes you can choose them, if not then choose create a new profile. But then every platform will have a new profile on which this song will be shown as your first release.

You can do it with a single account because they charge per release, so you can release multiple artists from one account only

CD baby tax withholding 30% and revenue cd baby takes 9% then the payment for distribution, don't U think it's too much they R taking? Please give us information about the 30% tax withholding like they take it from each payment we get or it's one time?

CdBaby is a US based company so they do not accept UPI / PayTM / Gpay or any other Indian payment methods as these payment platforms are meant for transactions within India

Nope, distributors work on a non refundable policy. You have to make sure that your song doesn't contain any copyrighted content. They won't be giving you even the royalties you'll earn with that song, because it belongs to the original copyright owners.
