Simply the BEST parkour sequence: no back-flips, no fluff. The real original parkour as was intended by the master David Belle himself: fluid motion through urban obstacles, with the intention to move fast and seamlessly through the environment, with naturally MINIMAL effort. Again, I have to emphasize, no energy wasted on back-flips, somersaults, etc. Parkour with PURPOSE, and simply beautiful to watch.

Backflips can help if youre falling backwards,frontflips and sideflips can help you dive further while stilll landing on your feet...they can have uses but not at random

This was such a blast when it came out over 16 years ago. Parkour was a fairly new development and this movie took it to a whole new level. Belle and Rafaelli were on top form as free-running masters.

I also watched it first in 2011 at my friend's house and had the same thought as you. Now I am 25, and I have been practicing it for almost three years. You can start as well, and only then you will truly understand Parkour. If done right, it is not bad for the knees.

After watching this 10 years ago, I realized that Parkour served a FAR greater purpose than just jumping off buildings and getting from point A to B. Most men/young men of our generation grew up lost in the world. To some Parkour was one of the first signs towords seeking Adversity. To being something more and to become powerful in their own way. That calling/love is important in a man's life because it guides them into making the best choices/habits and ultimately creates the person they choose to be. Push for Greatness Traceurs.
@likmijnreet4542 Жыл бұрын
How is all that exclusive to MEN? Get over yourself.
@pajarito726 Жыл бұрын
@lik mijnreet from my experience, because I'm a man, I know most boys are ignored in general. Either you make yourself useful or you're expendable. So when someone finds that spark, they look for more and try to do better. It's a hard thing to find a passion, and most boys are not properly guided these days. It can be football, baseball, chess, art, etc.

Assassin's Creed? If yes, of course. Assassin's creed's combat style is unrealistic and slowed so the player may use it easily. The parkour doesn't account for momentum for various moves and some things are just impossible in the games. I agree, much better.

Only time I ever regret starting smoking is when I watch David Belle and remember spending my teenage years doing this daily. Well, minus the being chased by lethal people anyway. Worst we ever dealt with was being chased off various roofs by security or cops. Take it from my experience, kids. If you love this stuff(if you love to do this shit), don't start smoking. You'll come to regret it eventually, for one reason or another.
