Agree. I get that Amapiano took over GQOM in popularity (even though it's an inferior genre imo) But it seems to have completely disappeared which is a real shame :/

Gqom is still alive in KZN, EC, and the western cape. It has only died in gauteng, which signifies how much of a stronghold gauteng has in the music/entertainment industry
