This album came out 19 years ago! So crazy to think about. The Sickness came out in 2000, when i was a 15 year old goth, hell bent on being the the best guitarist ever. Arthritis and massive nerve damage derailed my plans a year later, but that magical time of hope and attitude will live with me forever. A lot of that magic existed because of Disturbed. So grateful!

Inspired me been a guitarist too. The list goes on. Korn, slipknot, godsmack, linkin park like I said the list goes on. My favourite guitarist is Steve vai and nuno from the band extreme. I learned the meaning of this song when my first ex gf cheated on me and left me I found out she never loved me at all the memories of her haunted me and made me angry remorseful and sad I was striken and wasn't able to let her go (the song is about someone who hurt you but you can't get them out of your head despite your hardest efforts their very memory haunts you

this was my first favorite song when i was 3 years old. I'm 14 now and I'm still a huge fan. I've known disturbed for as long as I've lived and my dad used to listen to the music when I was very young. disturbed has shaped my life in a certain way, so that I am the way I am today

That slide at 1:17 is so perfect. It's like a sneak peak into the solo that comes later. I don't understand why people hate on these guys. I used to listen to them in the late 90s with Korn/Metallica/Deftones/Slipknot/NIN/Marylin/ etc. Im happy they're still around and kicking - i hope they play into their 70s

Well after what the lead singer of Linkin Park did I really can't listen to them anymore. And I was knew something was wrong with him but after that happened I listened to all his songs one more time, he was crying out for help seriously, but hindsight is 20/20 and I'm nearly going blind!

I've researched each and every one of you guys and I actually cannot find the words to tell you how impressed I am with EVERYTHING you do. Your message is loud and clear and highly appreciated by this 67 year old BluesMan. I was a working musician for 40+ years and am now enjoying my retirement. Hard to come off the road though as I now live a nomadic life in my converted off grid fire rescue vehicle, along with my guitar collection and my home recording gear. Oh, and don't forget the fishing poles....a secluded honeyhole and some intelligent music are the only things this old man needs anymore. Eyes open, no fear...Be safe you guys!
