Oh, Sophia, I have those very same bowls from your childhood in France. My mother was born and raised in Vitry le Francoise so I have many wonderful French items from her life as well as my grandmother's. I am always reminded of her when I watch your videos and it makes me cry but for good reasons. We lost her several years ago. Thanks for all the great videos.

My dog (a Boston Terrier) is constantly looking for food. He must have been a Beagle in a previous life, because Le chiffre is just like him. Or he'll "hide" and wait for a crumb to drop. He is very well fed and watered, just a pig!

William's "barf" noise when you lifted the lid reminded me of the retching noises my silly guys make when they don't like something. Your tablecloths are so pretty! I am rarely able to use them because our dogs are too short to see what's on top of the table... they pull the tablecloth down to the floor so they can get to whatever was on the table. Ugg!

Your family is adorable. I live in Lancaster County,PA. We had two snow days,it was wonderful to have my husband and the oldest and youngest daughters home. The middle daughter is married with a two year old son. Who almost was stranded at Granny and Pops house. We dodged that bullet!!

Here's a tip! Instead of throwing those yolks away, you could mix it with catfood for your cat about twice a month, it's really good for them :) just the yolks, raw eggwhite is bad for cats. Just a suggestion! I love your vids

Great video. We had about 19 inches of very heavy snow here in PA. Before it snows, everyone here flocks to the grocery store for milk, eggs, and bread. I think there must be a epidemic of French Toast making. Lol.

I love the family moment at the end, really made me smile!! Wish we had snow like that here in the U.K. But where I live in the south west (plymouth) it is constantly mild!! The worse we get is rain and high winds although at least that means no shovelling!!

I enjoyed spending a snow day with you. Starting with warm muffins, you really took care of your family. It was a soothing video.

I love you videos. I think one thing that you could do is to get a big cabinet with the glass shelving on top and a few drawers on the bottom in the spot of the big dark fireplace looking thing in your dining room. You can put all of your fine China and fancy stuff on display and also have places to put the stuff you have in the dark wood piece in your dinning room. This would create a nice central area for everything, allow you to clear up space, and have less furniture to try and match.

We live in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains in Australia but although it snows in the towns near us because we are in a valley it has only snowed in the actual residential area of our town once in the 24 years I have lived here. Love how Willie ran up to the camera when you lost at chess and said ' Your host is a loser' What a funny kid he is. Also love seeing your beagle continually wandering around checking in everything for food, so cute. xx

oh man! I'm sorry about the storm! I'm from northwestern montana and this winter has been hell! spring will come one day!!

I think instead of just tan curtains, I might be pretty to get some that are tan with a little aqua colored design in them. The yellow walls and aqua together could look really pretty and would go nicely with the new furniture you mentioned.
