@@rene9175 Oh yeah, I remember those days! LOL Funny enough, if you think about it, the roller went through the exact same meta cycle in both Smash and Splatoon. People initially thought the roller was OP, but then they learned the counterplay a few weeks/months later, and now the roller kind of sucks unless the player knows how to use it.

It's a good test, but not complete. For example, somebody that avoids fights against zoners might win a ditto but would not perform as good as his opponent against zoners. In other words, in order to play a character you need different skills depending on your opponent, so a ditto will not test all of your skills with this character.

Honestly. A ditto between 2 good players can get goofy cause they HAVE to play differently than usual. If both try to make the optimal move all the time, there would just be lots of clashing attacks

There are 2 official ways to do this 1. Wear the same alt in an Arena (Doing so in Quickplay will change the other player's skin) 2. Make an Offline Tourney and wear the same alt

Dittos fun fact - The Kirby ditto is considered a -1 in the Kirbycord matchup chart. This is because Kirby is still affected by the downtilts / pancakes, plus Kirby is not well equipped against the bullshit Kirby tools. Also, the copy ability sucks - literally - it’s the worst among the Smash roster. Kirby is also very good at edge guarding / ledge trapping Kirby. I know, it is surreal. But if you are a Kirby main you understand this.

I have two things to say in this comment: 1. That first Steve clip reminds me of a Smash 4 Bayonetta ditto fight I saw a clip of once. 2. I feel like it’s hard to have a true Mii ditto fight. Sure, encountering a Mii fighter as a Mii fighter is possible, but it’s a lot less common to see one with the exact same moveset.
