Hi my last name is the same. I live in the deep South so i can relate to the heat. Just a couple of comments. Tell your husband to give the purple plants you were given some plant food and a deep soaking. It will give them a good start. Also looks like you have a loose board on your deck. The new paint looks good. I use this on my patio and garage floor. I would definitely dig up some of the wild ferns. They are very hardy and will multiply. You can even put some in the flower beds. For your grass problem in the back yard you can use SUNDAY. It is a company on line that you can order all types of spray to nourish your grass. I ordered the kit to test the soil and after you mail the soil sample to them they will test to see what the problem is with your grass and send you the results with their recommendation for the correct nourishing spray. You attach the spray container to your hose and you will soon see a big difference. The pavers look great. Your generator looks great. I know they are expensive. It deserves a good cleaning to remove the green stains. Hope you don't mind the comments.

Kim, those pavers are beautiful. Good that you guys and your neighbors collaborated together on those. Your hubby did a great job staining and painting the gazebo to refresh its look. Your yard is very pretty. My son lives in Florida, so I keep up with the weather down there. So, I’ve been watching the 90+ degrees over the past few weeks.
