Totally agree. Gen Z is going to save this planet from ruin. Millenials like myself just have to not eff it up over the next 10 years and be ready to pass the torch and get out of their way. ;) Jacob is my favorite of this group of amazing young men- greatest child actor ever, can sing and dance better than most singers and dancers, and has already accomplished years of philanthropy. Man, his parents must be on Cloud 9. Heck, I am for them!

It is because he's so wholesome and most of his past characters are good kids who don't curse. Plus he's cute and looks about 9. Directors and producers have noticed this and are starting to cast him in roles opposite of the ones that initially made him famous to subvert expectations- here for great comedy. :D First line of dialogue in the movie is Jake saying, "Aw, fuck yeah!" lololol.

It's perfect because weird and awkward yet slightly magical is what being 12 is like. I love this movie. Most realistic depiction of middle school ever on the big screen!

His was already changing during the filming, at least to my ears. Brady and Jacob are about the same. I could see Jake being a really late bloomer with puberty I mean his interviews during the lockdown, nothing's changed, though he's a bit paranoid his voice will shift while recording Flounder. XD
