Hi there hoping you can help - why does Traktor often throw in random cue points (that light up white) and also, even though I have snap turned off, my cue points are no longer reacting quickly and its as if they only want to play on the beat or in time with the tempo. I use a Traktor Z2 mixer. Thanks

I have a problem. Create a Cue point . When I copy the same track to another folder or another computer cue points disappear . Is there any way to get the cue point saved when the audio track is copied to a folder or another computer?

Hello. I just moved from traktor Pro 1, and many things changed in settings, like the cue here. In the prev. traktor everything was perfect (plug and play) but here some cue points were wrong...even they were perfect in Tp1. And i found out the Snap function might cause awkward situations while settling the proper cue point. Also can u please tell me which version of traktor pro using on this video?

Question. Why sometimes on Traktor I try to set a que point, and it will not set it exactly where I want it. For instance it will set it a little behind or a little foward. It really frustrates me at times.

You likely have snap/quantise turned on (turn those off while setting cues), also your grid is likely off/analysed wrong, so you'll want to reset the grid markers to start on the "1" beat :)

Hi, sorry, but how can you start a cue point by only pressing it once and not needing to hold down the button? Because when I let go if it, the track stops. In the end of this video, you only pressed the que points once, and not having to hold them down. How do you toggle that? Thanks

I have a question, its bugging me know so I hope you can help. Traktor seems to be randomly moving the start Cue point on one deck only. and every Cue I try to insert on that deck (deck two of the S2) it places at the first Cue point no matter where the play head is in the track. its driving me up the wall.

Hi Steve, you said that via the keyboard all eight hotcues could be controlled. How do you control HC 6-8 on the left hand deck, since 6 is aleady HC 1 on the right hand deck? Could never figure that out ...

Andreas Paul Yep, it's via mapping. Only cues 1-5 for each deck on the standard mapping :)

hii i need help please , i bought a x1 of second hand and i am not able to do cue points (memory cue ) from my x1 , i push the bottton cue but the program dont do nothing , if i push shift + cue el track start at first, how i can do cue points ( not hot cue ) from my x1 ? thanks , if you can help me i would grateful

Under where it says "Active" on each deck, there's a little arrow you can click and that should give you an option for hot cues (make sure 'Cue' is selected on the left side)

i love traktor...but why cant you colour code the hotcues? so u can remember what hotcue does what? its easy to forget when there all the same colour....

Traktor is certainly due for an update, folks have been asking for a Pro 3 version for awhile

Digital DJ Tips Any dj Software should be able to analyze tracks properly , something serato cannot do., traktor and virtual dj are miles ahead in terms of this category. ........serato has a faulty beatgrid, no one should compare it to traktor or virtual dj at this point .some of you might be wondering what has beatgrid got to do with this,....if you have beatgrid set for all track, the cues and everything setup, you might not need headphones most times
