@sigmax4115 I think you're misinterpreting what those scenes are. Stands can enter a ghost like state that passes through physical material, just like a standard ghost. But diver down well to put it simply to him. The world is his ocean, and based on scenes like what he did to kenzu, it can phase matter. It is honestly easier to see what diver does than explaining it.

I guess Diver Down's ability is basically just: enter and rearrange the inside of something how you want to.

And that's why I don't like it... Stands should have only one power, no matter how complex, so they can't just asspull their way out of situations

@@lunarkomet I agree, but maybe DD powers are more derivative than they seem to be. It can swim trough material to access them from within, and may take damage by phasing trough their body and replacing their limbs/organs. It's initial ability is a bit too much, tho.

There’s gonna be some stands that are one-note but others that has an ability and could go versatile towards it like weather report or GE. Diver Down is one of those examples where it has an ability to rearrange an object but could also take creative lengths out of it not necessarily an asspull.

Don’t forget sticky fingers which is basically a more combat oriented stand
