I actually think it's better that the cast is older. I feel like they are probably more experienced as actors and also I think its more important to have actors who understand the characters and where they are coming from than to look exactly like them.

When I read the books I imagined Four/Tobias WAAAY different than Theo but Theo works perfectly to!

I am so happy with the cast! Even though shay doesn't have blond hair, blue eyes and she's a little taller than tris is supposed to be, I totally love her! I mean, Despite all that, I can really see her as tris! Cous tris is not a character that necessarily has to look a certain way, she doesn't have to be blond, she just has to be someone people can identify with, and I really, truly believe that shay can deliver that. That she can be brave, selfless and smart! :)

it´s always the same: When the actors for a book-to-movie-adaption get cast, the people critizise (and hate) them. After they seen the movie, they love them (well mostly) I am really exited to see this movie and I think they will have choose this actors for good ;)

totally understand where you're coming from! the book was amazing and just so good! i hope they don't mess it up. When i heard the cast members, i was very skeptical that they could do a good job - especially Tris and Four. Let's hope they do it justice!

yeah me too because when tris described Will in the book she said 'blond hair' with 'bronze skin' and when I found out that Ben Lloyd Hughes was the one to play as Will I got a bit shocked since he's so pale and has dark hair. I even imagined Peter with blond hair and green eyes since tris described him that way

Ok seriously,stop hating on them! Maybe the cast isn't how YOU imagined it but to other people their perfect.Those are the people they cast and that is how the movie is going to be!Imagine how hard it was for them! They probably tried really hard and they can't please everybody.So stop hating and start appreciating the fact that there will even be a movie!

Personally, I thought the cast was perfect. It's not that the cast doesn't fit, it's just not who you expected to play the characters. Shailene Woodley is a great actress

I don't understand why everybody is bitching about the cast? so they might not look exactly like you imagined, but is that really so important? As long as the characters has the same personality, I don't really mind much. I don't think they have to look a certain way for the story to be told, they just have to act like their characters, and I trust the producers to have cast people who can play these complex roles, and I think they know what they're doing with this :) be positive!

Christina is supposed to be taller and Four supposed to have dark blue eyes. Jeanine's Hair supposed to be darker than Tris but never mind still great casting. almost perfect. not exactly what the book describes but it's always like that.
