Selling calls for me is like hedging your bets by reducing your share cost average (through profit of the call premiums), giving you some downside room. But be honest about the tradeoff - you limit your upside potential by capping it with the strike price. But that is an acceptable tradeoff to me.

@@ThinkMoneyBenny No moves today. I usually sell premium on Mondays. I don't like selling premium going into the weekend because who knows what will happen. However, I am building up my cash reserves and seeing what happens during the election. I am also sticking to bear call spreads to reduce my risk with holding stocks.

Wow ... let me give you a lead in we hear all the time - "What's up guys, gonna show you my 10 Passive Income Streams! making me $4,000 a month" then they show you 9 of them that make like $50 bucks ... the 10th one being YT MONEY bringing in $3,950 ... please , give me a break
