Hurlingham is the name of a town in Buenos Aires, but it is also the name of the train station, keep in mind that almost the entire railway network in Argentina was built by English companies at the end of the 19th century

Homie (paisano: a local)from Hurlingham... Cuts off the fog... The song is full of slang and talks about a worker who lives check to check and everyday must take the train. If you like this band listen "Cajita musical" (little music box) and "El 38" (.38 caliber). Greetings!!

Paisano de Hurlingham (means: A guy from hurlingham city, possibly a reference to the singer Luca Prodan from that city) poda neblina (cutting the fog, means very early in the morning) moneda o botón (coin or botton, to trick the machine and travel without pay) ciego bilingüe (blind bilingual, reference to act like he didnt see its not a coin) paso morales fue (passing the street Morales going to the station) sin la opalina (without sunglases) de Retiro a Pilar (from Retiro to Pilar, the start/end of the train line) busca el chancho al chabón. (the pig searching the guy, means the inspector controlling tickets) Sapo explota en San Martín ( frog exploding at San Martin station, maybe: lot of people smoking on the train) los domingos a las diez (sunday at 10) sable recto en la estación (straight sabre in the station, police controling the croud) berretin de mayor. (obsession of greatness, talk about a menor thief that talks like a big gangster) Canilla en el anden (faucet on the platform,faucet/canilla means kid/man selling newspaper) gotea noticias (leaking news, the faucet leakes, the canillita drip the news) te grita el titular (scream to you the highlines) mentiras sin picar. (lies without cut, like all news are lies) Abejas con ombú (bees with ombu trousers, ombu is a mark of working clothes) viajando en el panal (traveling in the honeycomb, the train is full of workers) va la timba en el furgón. (goes gambling in the boxcar, could be 2 things: the workers playing cards or like it is a dangerous car, is lucky dont get stolen or hit/cut) Sapo explota en San Martín los domingos a las diez sable recto en la estación berretin de mayor.

You are listening to many recent bands. Unfortunately, you haven't reacted to what I consider the best band from Argentina: Rata Blanca. Listen to Guerrero del Arcoiris or Abrazando el Rock and Roll. Many bands have a song that is The song from that band....but for this one, any song you can find is awesome. And you will listen to the best guitar riffs from this land.

You should check Sumo. They have songs in English. When the singer died, the band split into Divididos and Las Pelotas. A song I like is "Estallando Desde el Océano" . Regards!
