A profuse thank you for assisting me to help my son. I honestly don't know what teachers are doing in the school nowadays confusing the living daylights out of the children. Instead of enjoying Mathematics the way you teach , kids are fearful of doing Mathematics.

Wow, this crazy! My online teachers taught me to keep the denominators the same no matter what, and never to simplify unless it’s a multiplication/addition problem. I have my test on Monday, and this and other videos helped a lot, thanks! 😊💕

just a little tip: you can use cross cancel multiplication instead of mulitiplying strait across, that way your answer is simplifyed and you only need to skimplify if needed.

I just want to say thank you for your in depth lessons. I am on the last test for my GED (math), and the program I am using does not do a very good job explaining certain things for me. This has been immensely helpful! It's been 11 years since I've taken a math class, so I was struggling to remember all the rules. When it came to division, I kept screwing it up because some teachers say cross multiply, while others say keep, switch and flip. Unfortunately, I was doing keep, switch, flip and cross multiply, so you can see how this became overwhelmingly frustrating for me. Watching two of your videos, I found myself to be very relaxed and actually enjoying this. In the past math stressed me out, but watching you explain this has been a really great experience and I look forward to learning more from you. :)

He used long method. You could also do a cancellation method for a shorter solution/shorter method. In his other videos he also teaches cancellation.

Mr. J, if you cross multiply after you change the mix fractions to fractions and multiply them, after you change the 2nd fraction to the reciprocal of the fraction and the numerator or denominator is the same number as the 1st fraction’s numerator or denominator, you would cross both out and make it one but what do you do after that?

Or u can also cancel the 15 to 3 and the 2 to 4 ! ( Like example how many 2's is there in 4? Or how many 3's are there in 15? ) so u can get it quickly hope this helps!
