Yeah. Theres way to much of that suff but i do like when i know what genre it is, which is what Encyclopedia Metallum is for, but when people are getting crazy with it and start saying shit like "Its not Death Metal, its Volvo-hardwood Whiskeycore" I start to get annoyed.

Tim isn't just fast he is also clean and his drums sounds so well with Dino, I personally that that is probably one of the most significant factors that helped this band garner so much success is that all of the musicianship is so tight and it sounds as if Dino and Tim are playing one instrument.

This is what the new generation of metal should sound like. There are still a lot of small great band coming in to existence but they never seem to come very far if they don't follow the stream and sound annoying. Divine Heresy takes all the best part of different genres and make awesome music.

last time I checked, deathcore didn't have clean poppy vocals. That's one of the big differences between metalcore and deathcore.

Justin McNeil Opinions are valued and often varied. As far as technicallity goes. There wont be a band like this for a long time.. a collaboration of godlike talent to sample a band.. Is very rare. Tastes can be judged and valued. But the talent CANNOT be questioned. Alot of genuine metal fans.. base their likes on new ideas..Dino Cazares is a pioneer to 8 strings..Even so that Ibenez made a singnature series 8 strings in his following..Tim Yeung.. is easily.. one of the best drummers out there. There had to be some reason ,not the basic youtube relative music comparison. That braught you here to this video. Talent is what defines metal bands from each other.. as there is a million different genre's. I speak for thousands when i say.. Range is evolutionary. Harder to sparse your range as a metal vocalist.. Easy to grunt through all the lyrics. What differeniates yourself from all the rest.. and keeps it original. Gotta think outside the box
