Timing is a must in this game, this is one where it’s way too easy to just button mash starting out. I’m a Thor main but I really hope to see more characters soon.

i agree with most, good tips. only the ult usage, in my oppinion just use your ult when u can. U get it so fast so if u wait until a good moment u might have wasted a chance to get another ult before the match is over.

I-frame dodges usually aren't unlimited in a fighting game They're usually on some sort of timer F.e. look at the Dodge from smash or brawlhalla

true. but more often then not, theyre usually more frequent than do dodges in Divine Knockout 😅

Atermarasu is my main cuz I played the shit out of Okami as a kid. Sort of sad she has no dog/wolf themed skin yet.

"if you are playing for the first time or played since day 1" *me an alpha tester*- hmm, how is the new experience? and what did we already do? btw, dodge is really good to use when an enemy dose any attack cus you don't get knoced back and can interrupt them easy

@@onestep Editing is the point? Lol, reminds me of the corny moments in shows when a person is pushing 100s of buttons then they pan to the game they're playing and the buttons don't even match the character movements.

My main is Athena and I don't see a lot of good Athena player! Which is sad, I would like to play more vs Athena player. I was trying to look up how does the counter work in this game because Ive killed people mid air with my heavy attack (which did a counter) but I don't know what I can Counter and how it works

I got the answer for you bro, and this should be on every beginners guide COUNTER: If 2 attacks of a different type connect within a small window, the attack with the higher priority wins.(ability>heavy>light). Not to confuse that with Athena's ability "counter" her counter ability will counter everything except ults.

So it's safe to say in the air your opponent used air light and you hit with the heavy which countered your opponents light attack, keep in mind light attacks are faster so they are used to interrupt, think of it like rock paper scissors but with mind games and positioning lol

Hence the "beginners" part of the title. The more 'advanced' stuff your suggesting would fit better in a more intermediate level style video. Keep in mind, what is "basic knowledge" to you could be "hard and complex" to others.
