There are a few hints I’ve given to patrons, so you guys have fun with that head start. I’m already working on future installments, which I will add to a larger supercut once I make more headway, or when I finish the story.

I mean if we’re being hopeful it could just be the infection trying to roar or shriek to make noises either it communicate or intimidate. However they only have the vocal cord of the hosts to work with and the host aren’t conscious, but that’s more of a hope.

It reminds me of chronic wasting disease; fairly common within deer. Basically makes them real-life zombies, suffering until they eventually give in and die. This is a lot like that actually and I'm terrified. 💀

I love the infection aus, the idea of disease (Especially contagious) is so stressing & horrific. Anything inhuman(Discluding creatures you find cute) immediately alarms you or- uncanny valley, humanoid mutilations are very scary! It's beautiful how the mind works & how people are intimidated by anything, or at least what they aren't used to seeing.. Most interesting part is that Swamp Fever is an actual disease in the canon lore which slowly turns the horses into trees, hence why you can see trees in that one scene and also why some of them have elongated necks. This is a really cool reimagining.

@@awannabeafton3642 this is not about what happened, this is more about mental state. Like you don’t have to lose someone in horrible ways or lose house and work to be mentally ill. I find horrors comforting whenever I have mental breakdown, I even always have nightmares in the lowest times of my life, but in those nightmares no one see me, I see g0re, I see monsters, but no one touch me, I’m more like viewer. I don’t know how it works, maybe if there’s agony in my head, I want to see agony outside in reality too to make my mind and reality match and to feel understood
