Our Lady of Hope is powerful! I had buried two children in one year. It was such a difficult time and I often times would pray while seated before a statue of Mary. Suddenly I found myself asking Mary to take me to the foot of her Son on the cross and beg him to give me hope. At the end of pew there was a book on Mary. I picked it up and randomly opened it. It opened to the Novena of Our Lady Of Hope. I read through the novena and at the bottom of the page there was the date of the feast of Our Lady of Hope. It so happened that it was my birthday. God is so good! I have often prayed that novena especially when God gave me our youngest child. Our Lady of Hope, Pray for us!!

Father Chris after you said each of us is given 15,000 souls to interceed for, I found out that the population of the community, where I live is 15,000. This gave me a profound sense of responsibility to pray for them.

Perhaps this is why we were locked down in COVID few of us were sick but we were able to find you on KZfaq. I never knew the shrine was so close! I pray that God heals me so I can have the strength to go to the shrine and pray. I pray for your shrine for our state for our country. And I ask people to pray for my granddaughter who due to depression is now being sucked into the transgender movement. She won't go through surgeries yet but she is experimenting with the hormones and her state just made it illegal. My prayer is that she finds the loving little girl that she has always been and that she is not alone she has a loving family around her and a God that loves her. Because of all the scandals in the church it makes it difficult for children to believe I don't know how to answer her with that I simply pray to our lady as a mother and a grandmother for guidance and the angels around us to keep us strong and to protect her. Please keep this KZfaq channel going I am unable to sit long enough in a church at this time. 10 years ago a priest told me he will not come out to give me communion and prayers for the infirmed. There is a new priest now but I don't know him and I don't want to trust a stranger into my home I'm trying to learn more about who he is and whether he has the holy Spirit shined from within a true man of God I've known many! Thank you Father Chris for reiterating the urgency and importance of prayer and sacrifice in your talk and First Saturday devotion today. While I was listening, I was thinking first of conversations I’ve had recently, where friends tend to think negatively and have lost all hope. That’s who I prayed for first, then I asked Our Lord to send me my 15,000. Until today, I never made the connection between the children and disabled the power of their prayers. I can think of very few people whose prayers have more power than our friend Chris, who despite his differently abled body, he emanates so much joy. I’m so grateful for Chris M’s friendship and prayers.

I have a disease that's incurable, untreatable, and worst of all, it's not deadly. Myalcic encephalomyalitis. I'm not strong like Mary in accepting it. I've been in moderate to severe pain for 27 years and accepted it as my occupation. I don't want to be rid of this, but I greatly wish for added strength to deal with it. Holy Spirit gave me this giant grace of finding your homilies and teachings about a month ago and just can t stop watching. I also buried my daughter, just a month after I went on a pilgrimage to Pontmain, Saint Jacques, Saint Michael in France, and I think God and our Lady were preparing me for that tragedy. Our Lady is our hope.

Our Almighty God, the Father, loves us so much that He gives us His Only Begotten Son Jesus, for our Redemption, but, despite everything, we continue our ingratitude and sinfulness, so, once more, HE decided to send Mary, the Virgin Mother of His Son Jesus to go down from Heaven, to become His main Messenger by appearing to His chosen individual on earth and to receive His urgent reminders to reform our lives, and, all of this we have come to know as miracles, because the Virgin Mary appearing on earth is phenomenal, beyond our comprehension …but… because GOD is omnipotent and benevolent, Who created us to Love Him, and wants us to become worthy by becoming sinless with souls white as snow to enter Heaven, hence, the many Miracles we have come to learn and believe to be coming from Heaven 🙏♥️🙏 Fr Chris has shown us miracles worthy of belief coming from Heaven, everything is being shown to soften our hardened hearts, therefore, it is now up to us, reform our lives, pray for our leaders, both Catholic or political, all nations, for ourselves, our families and conversion of unbelievers, pray the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy, for its only through our true devotion, faith and trust that GOD will redeem us 🙏♥️🙏

Thank-you Father for sharing your fascinating insight about the numbers; a fresh, new perspective. Though one tries, it seems First Saturday Devotions are missed with you more often than not. It's Wednesday and the fact of catching up meant it was necessary to ask Our Blessed Mother's forgiveness as well as our Lord's. Fr. Chris, I am inspired by you lessons. I am commenting for a selfish reason. After 4 days in the hospital, it has been determined that I need part of my large intestine removed. I am a widow and the sole caretaker of my 34 year old son with moderate/ severe Autism . He is 37 years old. Please pray that if it is Jesus will I am healed, but if that is not his will I receive all the graces I need from our Blessed Mother to accept and cooperate with the will of Jesus. I appreciate Fr Chris’ math, however, when I pray with the podcasts from the Shrine (multiple times every day) I’ve always thought of it as if no matter what the hour, I am praying together with hundreds, if not thousands, of others from all around the world. Perhaps, instead of each of us being accountable for 15,000 American souls, we each earnestly pray for 350,000-400,000 souls from all around the world, of Our Lord’s choosing.
