I was blessed, to be born to a father, Manuel, who was given the grace of learning, living and providing for his family, by the trade of Carpenter. Who led his family from a poverty stricken nation, to bounty. I was blessed to be given the name, the most beautiful name, Maria do Carmo. I was blessed to be given the most bountiful grace of Catholic Baptism. I was blessed to receive Holy Communion and Confirmation. I really loved this talk that you gave Fr. Dan. One prayer that I say quite often is the prayer of St. Gertrude. Even though this prayer is also in the form of a chaplet I say this prayer 14 times when I pray a Rosary and I even pray it while praying the chaplet of Divine Mercy. All the spaces on a Rosary is where I add the prayer of St. Gertrude just so that I can be able to release several from Purgatory daily. God bless you Fr. Dan now and always.

As a Catholic I love this message. And I am so overwhelmed yet. At Fatima, Mary tells us to pray the rosary everyday. And, Jesus (God), Himself, tells us of tells us to pray the divine mercy chaplet. And now we are told to pray the 7 sorrows of Mary chaplet. I often feel so overwhelmed because if we said to prayers that everyone wanted us to say that's all we would be doing 24 hours a day 7, days a week and not living life. If God Himself told us to pray the divine mercy chaplet each day....I would have to go with God. Does anyone agree....or am I missing something very important?

Hi fr Dan, good to see you again. Another enlightening and insightful teaching. Had downloaded mama Mary's and Divine Mercy apps years back and been using both for my daily prayers. I've been meditating and praying on the 7 sorrows of mama Mary daily in the praying with Jesus and St Faustina book of Susan Tassone, can i still meditate and pray using this instead of the chaplet of 7 sorrows?

Why don't we do Holy Confession in a weekly group setting? That would certainly help us all to manifest the emotionally monolithic movie of our works in this lifetime more than any other merciful modality, and opens up the joy of the possibility that the intellectual surprise of the sublime is nothing to be feared or hidden, but rather makes final, in the mood congruent omnidirectionality of the land of consequence where we can process miracles without smiling or laughing, that the narrow gate of hell is indeed the narrow gate of heaven. Or is that kind of mass sentience too culturally subversive, or something?

There is a whole continent of Africa to pray for Rwanda,who reached out to them? .In defense of regular Americans, regular Africans,and regular South Americanss do not hear about the strugglles regular american citizens..Its probably easier for those poor people in those continents than any poor American to go to eaven,because of the sinfullness and impurity the USA has been fed,by the government,(pushing for abortion, racial discord as racial justice, the greed of govt leaders,injustice in the use of fbi,doj, pushing for war in Ukraine, with the media . (media(internet,tiktok,the news network pushing for abortion, sexual perversions in schoolchildren,and minors,, and unfortunately the church as apologetics for leaders (biden,pelosi) who are leading the people astray.

Dear Father, Why do you say "probably not in this lifetime" instead of "possibly not in this lifetime?" The diction is important. If you're saying that the perception of God's perfect love is possible to perceive at all in this lifetime, then what are the fundamental statistical empirical presumptions, aside from your own personal subjective judgment of presumably fewer than the population of the entire world, that lead you to hypothesize that it is wholly improbable rather than expressly possible that one could find God's perfect love in this lifetime? Meeting even just one person in real life who has found God's perfect love is no scientific criteria for determining any one person's overall likelihood of finding emotional enlightenment, let alone the fact that you say that you've met zero people who've fulfilled the criteria of emotional enlightenment, and yet you still use even the latter data to support your hypothesis, while the former data wouldn't be any more helpful than the latter data in the overall support your hypothesis of the likelihood of anyone finding God's perfect love in this lifetime. That likelihood is a possibility, not a probability. There is some cognitive bias involved in anyone's declaring that he has an a priori understanding of the statistical probability involved of anyone finding emotional enlightenment in this lifetime. Such a thing is always expressly a possibility, and never a probability. No one can ever determine any probability unless that probability model is based on a mathematical model of data gathered from experience. And since you have no data to gather as you have said so yourself, your only other option is to keep open the possibility, or declare that God's perfect love is not possible to attain at all, in this life or the next life. You can see the movie of your work manifest in this lifetime. Anyone can. Isn't that why you have a job? Or is your mentioning that the movie isn't viewable until the afterlife just a clever stimpack to get us to imagine our life movie in this life and thereby become emotionally perfect?
