The Mascarene Plateau in the middle of the Indian Ocean is home to Mauritius, the World's largest Oceanographic State. Fed by the cool waters of the Southern Ocean, it's sea temperature is ideal for the survival of Coral Reefs. As Scuba Divers and Conservationists, we all look to the health of our ocean. And Mauritius, with it's barrier reef protecting the ocean from the land mass, and its perfect water temperature for coral growth may well be the coral nursery of the future when Global Warming has taken its toll on the rest of the world's Coral reefs.
