powerful lyrics and powerful band.. no bullshit a rock masterpirce

I HATE that their song " I touch myself " is what they are know for . Its a ok song. But their catalog is full of punk rock and rock and roll classics. I have to admit I got on the train way too late. I LOVE Being able to going back and watching these live performances they were a truly great rock band . And Christina was a magnificent front woman and vocalist. the Divinyls are a criminally underrated band

Except for I Touch Myself, I have no knowledge of the rest of The Divinyls music. Liked the guitar work in this song, the vocals, I gotta think on that one for a bit. Nice to see you brother. 😊

Back in 1986, the Divinyls opened for Aerosmith here in Seattle. I was at that show. We booed them off stage because we felt that the Divinyls were an inappropriate group for an Aerosmith concert. I hit the lead singer in the forehead with a big wet piece of toilet paper that I made in the bathroom sink at the Seattle center coliseum. I also hit the guitar player right on his guitar, and I could hear it ring out over the loudspeaker system. I had ingested a quart of Jim Beams and 5 amphetamines. I was crazy that night. I'm sorry. I was caught up in the moment. Aerosmith did a really good show that night. I mustled my way Up front against the fence Stage center by the time Aerosmith came out to do their show. Steven tyler came right up to me and called me a crazy motherfucker. Joe Perry was standing behind him, scowling at me. But I spent the rest of the show right there. It was a good night after that whole other thing happened. Again... I'm sorry.
