why were they not more popular in the USA ? The guitarist is really good, inventive.

I know, right? I stumbled across their older LP's on vinyl and LOVED them, their earlier albums. I didnt care too much for their self titled album with the above song, and have yet to hear their whole catalog. Nothing beats their 80's stuff IMO :-) - I've never had this album,....definitely gonna listen.

@Warren552011 what is Chrissy's book called please..? I would love to read it..., thanks :)

I'd like to add a bit about that debt and the way Chrissy handled it as characterized in the book. Never would Chrissy entertain the idea of taking Divinyls into bankruptcy even though it could have made things much easier for her. Divinyls was her dream and her creation and she didn't want to sully its reputation with a bankruptcy. When she was hired to play her acclaimed portrayal of Judy Garland in ''The Boy from Oz'', she found herself in the unusual position of having money flowing in rather than always out as with the band. The play ran for more that 2 years as she funneled everything above basic living expenses toward servicing the debt and finally achieving solvency. There was a bit more to this enormously talented force of nature than just some one who made an indelible mark in music history. jtk
