Recorded in 1993 in Queensland's notorious Boggo Road prison, this scorching live show - part of a triple bill with Rose Tattoo and Billy Thorpe and his Aztecs - sees Chrissie Amphlett and the band deliver blistering renditions of all the big hits from their five albums. Launching the show with the early hit "Boys in Town", the band play their biggest, and most controversial single, "I Touch Myself", before powering through Oz rock folklore on songs like "I'll Make You Happy", "Only Lonely" and "Pleasure and Pain". Tracks include: Boys in Town, I'll Make You Happy, Only Lonely, Guillotine Day, Need a Lover, Open Windows, Love School, Lay Your Body Down, Science Fiction, Temperamental, Sex Will Keep Us Together, Make Out Alright, Bless My Soul, I Touch Myself, Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore, Pleasure and Pain

Very underrated band, for that decade & now. Her seductive voice & sensual vocals were like no other vocalist. The Divinyls band,, professionals, who complimented their lead singer's sultry uniqueness, and the late Chrissy Amphlett, entirely deserve a standing ovation for their gift to R&R and many hard years of service!! Thank you all for your contribution to consistent, great Rock n Roll-you never disappoint!

I just came across the Divinalys and i must of listen to this concert about 10 times already. Loved every song. I think they are fantastic. Im from the USA so i dont remember ever hearing of them. Its ashame what happened to Chrissy. Fantastic Band. Everytime i listen to this it keeps getting better and better. 😊

Yeah Chrissy amphlett died way too young she was diagnosed with MS in the 90's and then developed breast cancer in the 2010 therefore she could not get the proper treatment for breast cancer because of her having MS

The reason is because Divinyls is one of the most underrated bands and that not everyone knows, at most some rockers only know them for "I Touch Myself" which is their best-known song...

Quite simply the toughest, tightest and most inventive band of that decade. Saw them live up close in small venues in the States and they just ate the audience alive. God bless you Christine.

Divinyls never really got their full due, but they absolutely KILLED! Mark McEntee had that cool Brian Jones vibe and played his ass off, and Chrissy Amphlett - holy shit, what a frontman! Sexy, powerful, distinctive. They were one of the greatest Aussie exports, for certain. Very, very sad to lose her at a young 53. Legendary and sorely missed. Viva Divinyls!

Great observations!👍👍I was very fortunate to be born and raised near Toronto, Canada, which had a fantastic radio station (*) that was on the cutting edge, and made a point of covering bands from all over the globe, as well as the lesser known groups in North America and the vibrant music scene in Toronto. That included Aussie bands such as The DiVinyls, The Stranglers, The Hoodoo Gurus, Midnight Oil, The Triffids, The Church, Men at Work (and Colin Hay's solo work), Icehouse, The Go-Betweens, Radio Birdman, Crowded House (yes, I know, part Kiwi, part Aussie) , Aztec Camera (they're Kiwis, right?)....and a bunch I can't remember right now. They all definitely got airplay, right from the band's start in most cases, and I became a big fan of each of them ( I have at least one album from the ones I listed). (*) CFNY, who's motto was "The Spirit of Radio"...yes, the station that inspired the RUSH song!

Never had the pleasure of assist one of her concerts, i was too young (4-10 yo) but I love this band. I remember the first time i hear one of their songs ' I touch myself ' and see their video in MTV , I loved it! Though i didn't understand one word what was about 😂 ( English is not my primary language) I was 5. Thank you so much for uploading their concert.

Wayne Hutchinson from Baltimore Maryland in randallstown Chrissy had talent the hot body the very hot legs the very lovely eyes I first noticed them when she did I touch myself it was very sad to hear about her death she will be missed she looked like the lead singer of the band pretenders sounds like Chrissy too amagine those too together the world may never knew both have great looks and voices iam a big fan of both r. I. p Chrissy forever I didn't catch them at the us festival in 1982 or 1983 a terrible loss when I heard I was very shocked and supprised

In my opinion the soft spoken sultry babe Chrissy from 1990-1996) performing "Boys in Town" seems extremely out of place as when she was the "Feral Schoolgirl" from 1981-1984 she looked so pissed off while performing "Boys." I have no hate for the aforementioned song but they should have done it in a different style to fit Chrissy's current persona at the time or retire "Boys" from the setlist completely.
