Before anyone asks why chinalight here’s the reason, Vile mask procs scales off explosive damage and status effect. Explosive damage buffs vile mask indirectly due to the buffing of the concussion Grenada. Explosive damage and status effect are their own multipliers and along with DTA and DTC are the only sources that buff the vile mask ticks. If I have demo spec on for explosive damage it increases the damage of the Jammer (which I’ve tested) but I chose survivalist for the 10% bonus damage to status effected enemies.

i was just wondering this for the pulse skills . i was using the cluster bombs with the BTSU gloves. THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME !!! this will hit more targets and put a DOT on them!! I AM SOOOOOO IN THANK YOU FOR THIS !! fyi i love playing at a distance so this works

I’ve been running this build for a few days now. It’s quite squishy, but if you have a dedicated healer on your team and two strong dps builds, legendary is more than manageable. Heroic with this build works surprisingly well. Obviously you have to play smart and move often, but this is a very excellent build. Thanks.

Gonna give this variant a try, thanks. Similar build with BTSU gloves the go to for Dark Hours Raid's Razorback. Kills drones and resets reviver hives for all your allies.

I already have a vile set up with jam and shock using China light and golan on the demo with glass cannon and creeping death but you sir gave me a great idea I tried dual jam skill an it was lacking ccase cool down but this may work where you use jam pulse than fire sticky jam and just use a continuous loop

Nice work, gonna have to give it a go maybe with everlasting gaze as I don't have the Scorpio yet. I switch to the jammer on my eclipse build regularly just to kill robots etc or just help spread the status around more. Using hard wired is a clever choice.

Yeah that’s the problem with eclipse because you’re waiting for cooldowns and it’s not a short cool-down either. I’ve tested it on eclipse and didn’t like it I think eclipse is better for Fire or foam status .

Just tested this and I’m sure I’m getting an extra ~10% dps when I simply hold a weapon with ‘damage to targets out of cover’ too. You can see the dps go up and down when you switch weapons so it must be that. Kinda cool!

Gonna try this with China Light bp but overwatch. Get the explosive buff and skill / weapon damage. Team focused. Like opportunistic

If someone is running BTSU with Hard Wire they need to not play the game 😂.

Won’t make a difference because you can only overcharge once. So if he overcharges you can’t overcharge till the cool down. It’s basically a waste to have two people running it.

What do you recommend if you don't have the mask?

Maybe go for a Golan mask for status’s effect, you won’t be able to do any damage towards enemies only robotics because you don’t have the mask.

@@L3ON7 Not really using fire sticky. Both skills are pretty good. Also using perfect perpetuation gets 100k+ ticks.

@@Ron-Hell honestly if I were to use firesticky I wouldn’t use it on hardwire when it’s much stronger on eclipse because of the spread so it’s kinda useless In my opinion to run it in hardwire. Only time I’d use hardwire is for jammer or seeker mines and my other skill would be shield or restorer hive.

Yeah I have a similar one, it’s one of my first build videos, 3 improvised, Golan, hana-u and vile mask all rolled status and haste, creeping death and tag team.

@@DefenestrateLogic you can attach a gear mode to improvised gear so I’m stacking skill haste as much as I can and with tag team you get the jammer much faster.

If I had the ninja bike on I wouldn’t be able to use the hammer as much because having the hardwired backpack decreases the cool talent from HW.

It’s to get my other skill back which is the jammer. After using the Jammer there is a cool-down on the hardwire talent around 3-5 seconds and that’s when I drop my hive which resets my Jammer and I can use it again. I can constantly use my Jammer every 5 seconds basically but you need to activate the other skill and that’s why I drop my hive.

Why the China Light on the chest when you don't have explosive damage on your skills? The damage from the mask is from the grenade not the chest talent.

Ive tested it with eclipse 🤣 you’re literally waiting 20-30 seconds to use your Jammer again. What’s the point ? It’s useless in legendary when you’re waiting for it to cool down the whole point of using hardwire is being able to disable robotics continuously which you can’t do with eclipse.

I went the regen route and use the fire sticky. Also I carry the pestilence which goves me more damage from the vile than you.

@@Ron-Hell Theres no need to be toxic about it, DTA may very well add damage values to the skill damage but it won't affect Vile; Vile "ticks" are increased by Status Effect attributes and total Explosive Damage, Pestilence has neither. That being said, there are a number of smaller damage glitches around at the moment so if you've found another one enjoy it while you can. 👍

Why China light. For explosive damage. You're not using explosions. Why not a Golan with status effects x2. And a damage mod with skill haste. We used this build in the dark hours raid for years for razorback drones. Great build super fun for support. Nice for invaded missions.

just not enough damage imo to be viable. in the shooting range even the red enemies take forever to die. even a crap build would kill faster than this. It would need alot more dmg and have a faster time to kill to be viable to your team.
