The ruler of THIS world. So many forget that satan is the ruler. I used to. I used to ask myself, "How is this world, how is mankind so evil?" It's so easy to answer that question when one realizes who the ruler of this world is. Thank you Father Mike for speaking about this. In college I committed the second reading to memory because it was so important for me to remember. When I realized that I was operating a world ruled by the Devil it changed the way I looked at everything in the newspaper. It also alerted me to the fact that I am in a battle with the ruler of this world everyday and I need Jesus to help me fight and win that battle. Great homily as always Father.

One of the prime principles is " For every action there is an equal and opposite action." There are only two forces in this world that govern all of mankind ,they are good and evil, and each is your choice. God always loves you. If you disobey Him, He still loves you and will send you help according to your desire and His will. Satan hates you. He hates you because you are created in the image and likeness of God, and he (satan) is not. When he convinces you to sin, he still hates you. If through his actions, you end up in hell, he still hates you. Satan is not capable of love or joy, he wanted to be God, and you know how that worked out for him !

He cares and doesn’t ignore us. It may seem otherwise but it truly isn’t and I’ve realized that.

Fr. Mike, you are an amazing priest and a good shepherd . I love your sermons and so grateful to hear you. Wish I could hear you everyday. Love your positive attitude always, may God bless!

I went to mass yesterday and heard the homily, but it only connected a few dots compared to yours connecting entirely, the readings, psalm, acclamation and gospel.
