Yep Vashti you nailed it. Very unfair TV show which condemned the woman when it was the man here who was the real villain. If anyone was a gold-digger it was him, not her! The women was honest with him about her escort work from the start. He quickly got serious about her, and told her to stop escorting because he was possessive, effectively stopping her income. He then moved into her home (presumably he didn't have one of his own), and got her pregnant. When he did that and formed a family unit, he should have stepped up to the plate like a man and been breadwinner. He admits he earned good money - so why did he expect her to pay half the household bills?! She got an early clue that he was mean with money, when he made her pay half on their dates! What a pathetic excuse for a man. I am sick of men acting like children and crying 'gold digger' the minute a woman, quite reasonably, expects him to act like a man and support a woman and children. My parents' generation believed a real man was happy to support a family - and that a man who failed in that duty was the lowest of the low. Their generation was right! Far too many poor-quality males around today who expect women to provide for them! This is the reason so many women, black and white, are no longer dating black men. They are renowned for sitting back and pimping off a woman, they have no self respect and are not real men. A woman with healthy self esteem would not give a loser like that the time of day!
