I'm glad to see someone who was able to get a GED and then go on to get certified in so many things. I know a lot of people don't like hearing it, but an education is empowering. It can really help pull you out of difficult situations and provide for you family when you wouldn't otherwise be able to. I would love to see fewer rappers and instead see more people put an emphasis on college degrees, trade schools, and certifications! 👍🏾

Let me see if I've got this... they meet. Thirty days later, he goes to jail for 3 1/2 years. She sticks with him. (Sounds more like one of Judge Lynn's bounceable moments right there.) She gets her GED, a number of trade certifications, then hits college for associate degrees. He's a blue-collar laborer. Even before his accident, she should've seen this wasn't going to work long-term... he had no interest/motivation in joining her on the "better myself" ride. He owned up to his one night stand, but she seemed a little too smug responding to his accusations about her. Definitely better off elsewhere.

I hate that people judge others based off of their own perceptions about how a person should be. Going by what your saying every arranged marriage should be a 100% failure, at least she met the guy and got to see if she was attracted to him first. They stayed in contact during his sentence, y'all act like the whole time he was in jail he was, 25ft under sea level in a box completely unable to speak to anyone. The problem is that…she just outgrew him. She improved herself while he was in jail…came up a little bit…and she “realized” that she didn’t need him. Once she started to improve herself, nothing he did from that point was ever going to be good enough for her. All of their other issues are secondary to this…even the cheating. I’m not excusing the cheating but it’s a cause and effect thing.

The problem is that she was with someone in jail, instead of just letting things go and finding her somebody on the outside, she waited. She's actively achieving things for herself and she wants him on her level, that's where she messed up. She didn't know him well enough to know what kind of goals and dreams this man had and she wanted to just make him have that same drive as her and that's now how life works. If I want to be a highpower attorney, but I'm dating someone and they're happy being a line cook at a restaurant, I don't have the right to try to push them to want to go higher if they don't want to. There's nothing wrong with having a job you like and making an honest living, I think that's the biggest problem we have is that we want to out Joneses the other ones to show how we're living. I do agree that he could at least get his GED and have that done. I think she was definitely creeping and that's why he creeped and neither one of them is right for that, but she was trying to minimize the dirt that she was doing. They're not on the same page or level and it's good they're getting a divorce.

Deviancy Behavir you can't legally do blue collar work like construction without being licensed or certified. They completely grew apart and it's a good thing that they've divorced. if you can't have a conversation with your partner and communicate effectively, then you don't have a relationship.
@DeviancyBehavir
@DeviancyBehavir 7 жыл бұрын
Haha, have you ever heard of day laborers? You can find them out at every Home Depot, Lowe's or Menards waiting for work. I know it's not legal, but she met a man in a certain position, he was on his way to jail and stuck by him. Now she's looking at him like she didn't know what he was, when she was fully aware and okay with it. That's why I said she shouldn't have been with him and stuck by him while he was in jail for 3 yrs. Nothing wrong with her wanting and achieving more, just don't try to get upset if he's okay with where he's at.

If you want to be something that requires a degree, like doctor than do it, but to say everyone needs to be at a college and have mountains of debt to be educated, is not true. Is the road harder for a college drop out? Definitely. But sometimes a lot easier than sitting in a classroom to satisfy society and never fulfill their dreams.
