Hi brother, My wife despises me as a Christian since Jesus appeared to me in 2006, 18 years of discrediting me as a believer in my own home, my children also do not believe in the things I tell them about God. But God called me here and I will remain here until God takes me to his side. I have no friends, even Christians see me as strange. There is a purpose in everything God does, and they are much higher for us to understand at this level, but faith is what keeps us going, that His purposes are holy and good for us. Thank you for speaking over me as a father would speak to me and encourage me. My own father went through very similar divorce and situation with my mom. Somehow as the youngest, and the only child still living at home experiencing all of the contempt and hate and even receiving blame from my mother just because I existed there…the Lord veiled me and protected me through it all. The Lord didn’t keep me out of the fire but He walked with me through it. My older siblings don’t want anything to do with God, and none of them are married and all of them are still angry. I held unforgivness towards my mom for over 10 years… one day with my own daughters I was angry with them and blaming them - they were very little and tired… after they went to sleep I cried and realized my attitude towards them was wrong and I said “Lord, please let them have room in their hearts to forgive me, if I make mistakes, please let them see that I never want to hurt them, please don’t let the hurt I’ve caused block their ability to see that I love them.” The Lord said back to me “How can you ask me to do this, when I have placed you here as their mother, to live as an example for them to follow, but you do not model the same forgiveness towards your own mother?” I realized I was wrong for never forgiving my mother, that day I choose to love her despite her flaws or anything she’s done, the same way Christ loves me. I wrote her a letter for the first time in over 10 years and began a friendship with her. It’s been 2 years since then, recently due to no fault of my own she abandoned me all over again with no explanation or reason. For a while I’ve lost sight of what I’m supposed to do and I’ve just been hurt all over again. I’ve even lost my desire to share my testimonies and all the Lord has done. I will still forgive, & love her like Christ loves me. Thank you for the reminder: that it is not human approval or my mother’s approval I am living for, but to live as Christ lived and love like Christ loved. Run to the darkness & seek out the hopeless ❤️

I met you once in Jerusalem but we did not speak because there were many people around you anyways i came to faith radically 3 years ago and since then i had many rejections, my family only family is the people in faith and even those reject me sometimes, my husband still does not want to know Jesus and lives a very worldly lifestyle, i really struggle and the only place that makes me happy is Jerusalem. Afshin, you are a human, not a messiah- as humans we sin. You did not break his Covenant, We stumble but Gods Grace is sufficient! Divorce hurts, but God will use your pain to reach & help others (ultimately for His Glory). You still have a beautiful family (try to find a workable relationship with your ex wife). I have been there- I lost everything, he was so mean, nasty & vengeful. I hold no bitterness & forgive him. The mission from God that you are fulfilling is so important, Satan will come at you with obstacles any way he can. Put on your full armor of God (put it on your family member’s also) everyday. Your message moves people, it impacts people & it is more critical now than ever. I can’t wait to hear you speak in person. I wish I had a way to speak to you because I want to be a benefit to your ministry until I can better support it financially.

Good video. I went through a divorce I didn't want. My church also exacerbated the problems in the relationship supporting my wife and abandoning or bullying me. I know God released me from my marriage. He says we were called to peace. 1Cor 7:15 But my son has been a blessing from God also.

Wow, I totally can relate to your testimony. Thank you for sharing your story and heart to encourage us in our walk through our falling short of the glory of the Lord! I will never forget how I thought of having missed the mark at some point but He showed me how it all started and when I really backslid! And from that I ended up being married for 17 years thinking: Lord change him, change me or release me. There was no blaming anyone but myself. And I felt so shameful because of failing the Lord and others as well! All glory to God because He gave me strength and courage to wait patiently for the time it was time to leave because I knew God wouldn't want me to stay in a abusive relationship with my son who suffered as well! I thought I was so strong in my walk with the Lord, I never thought I would fall, but I did and I am so grateful for His mercy and long-suffering, because without Him I would have never made it out of that situation!

I stood before the Lord not as a proud servant but as a greatfull son. I visited the 15th chapter of Mark where it speaks of the signs that follow the sons of God. So when you lay hands on the sick and they recover or cast out demons in the name of Jesus it is confirmed that you are a child God. We are never called to battle against flesh and blood which is an earthly fight, so we take up the Sword of the Spirit and command the kingdom of darkness to yield because all power and authority was given to the resurrected Lamb of God who chose you. Thank you for sharing - i was there sometime ago. My decision to allow for peace in the home. My catholic friend told me that means ex-communication from the catholic church. I recently met a priest after 15 years w/o being near any church who said my friend told me incorrectly. In that 15 years away from the catholic church, i found jesus in christianity. I actually feel closer to Jesus now than all those years i was a catholic. Now its just me and my son. Im blessed. I havent dropped you any comments lately but im here in your channel. Im the one who lives near where Jesus came to you:) i get you coz you are honest n sincere. Im dealing w christians who dont have the holy spirit in them at my workplace. God will lead the way for all of us.

In a turbulent marriage, the ones who suffer the most are usually the children. Thanks for sharing your testimony. I recently got divorced and it was devastating. But, it was through that suffering that I came back to God. I was brought up in Christian church but I left shortly after getting married. We had a happy marriage apparently but we were away from God for a long time. Divorce came and brought me back to God. I hope it does the same with my ex husband.

Hi I come from latin America living in Europe. My husband is a Christian and me too but since one year I decided to serve Jesus seriusly and my husband is not happy at all He says that now I dedicate a lot of time to religion. He doesn't let me to talk others about Jesus. and he tell me all the time that people in Europe dont like to talk with people like me because I have not white skin...whatever.... I do what I can when he is out but , it is not enough.... I adore Jesus on Sabath and he doesn't like that. The sabath is a very big problem in our relationship..because God asked us to adore him that day and I dont have the authority to change the day of adoration (Matthew 5: 17 ) so I think that have to choose between Jesus and him.

Brother, I have learned from YOU that if you are focused on and following Jesus Christ, nothing can harm you. Many Christians have a bad tendency to judge the acts others, including Christians and it has a bad effect on their faith and their ability to be a light to the world. God's opinion is the only one that matters. God is the only one you are accountable to or have to explain yourself to.

Divorce is really hard for Christians. Other Christians treat you like garbage when you go through this nightmare too. We are IFB which is most strict form of Baptist many believe no divorce no matter what...First marriage was mental abuse, verbal abuse 12 years then he got a girlfriend...my pastor told me to stay I was utterly miserable. Divorce was right and should have been sooner. It was hard on the kids that is the only regret. A husband is supposed to love like Christ not treat you like the devil. My second marriage as a Christian we brought 90,000 Bibles to Muslims in Dearborn so I think it was God's will to leave remarry.

Even when people engage in sexual sins leading to divorce, God still hates it. More and more homes are breaking up today because of messages like these. Encourage couples to stay together. Let them decide if they want to divorce.
