Hi Sir as usual good informative tive tutorial as expected from You.I have dought regarding output amp.checking process in SMPS if product shows rated output voltages but applied product not run like ro adopter 24vdc 2.5 amps how can measure this amps if you have any trick pls.explain or make a tutorial on in this topic.

Simply you can test it with your regular digital multimeter or if you have any issue you can make a small digital multimeter which can show you the pass through amp and volt and of course I will make a video on that topic

What is the part number of the transformer used in this cicuit??? I think it is EE category transformer. I wanted to know the exact part number.

I don't know the part number I collected it from an old Chinese power supply and there was no level on it you can use any 12v 3amp smps transformer, Thanks for watching❤

No , if you use transistor then it will be less efficient and also need to use a heat sink little bigger size
