Remember to plate your mounts where the bolts go through cuz. You've reinforced for lateral movement but its light gauge material where the bolt head will go through. The steel will tare with a decent shunt if you dont plate it. Add the same gauge material u used in the upright supports. And grade 8 bolts. Fully minticle hectic cuz. Love it

Amazing what you can do with a few bits of steel! Great job mate, I was going to pay a fabricator to do a tray for my 79 but many have an off the shelf standard design that they're not willing to change. Gonna design one with a mate with a welder and give it a go

Think your doing a good job on your project i have been welding for many years but stopped about 7 years ago believe me practice and knowing your machine are paramount as i have found having started again , and of course having the knowledge of appropriate standards and regulations. My one thought though is do make some drainage holes in the frames water ingress or condensation will rot your efforts . Also strongly suggest you put some drainage under those tail lights

I’ve been looking at building myself a tray for a while but I’ve been over estimating things in my head despite building a trailer from ground up on a garage floor. Could you do a costings at the end because I’m really wanting to build one custom now. Also weldings sounding good and looking good too but when it goes to meet the vertical up weld or meets the T fillet, roll it up and over or roll over and down the piece. It’ll give a bit more pen and also look a bit nicer
