Hi! Welcome to my video showcasing the DIY Barbie Dream House I built in college for a project- and haven't stopped building since. I hope you enjoy my walk through of all the rooms and projects I have created for this dollhouse, as well as some commentary on my future plans for the rooms.

I made a Barbie house from cardboard boxes when I was about 11 or 12. Certainly not as sophisticated as yours, but it was fun. My favorite piece of furniture was the bottom and stem from a broken piece of stemware that I turned upside down and placed in plaster of Paris in small clear plastic. Wish I still had it but that was 50+ years ago

I go to Good Well and other thrift stores to find what l can’t find in fabric stores to make doll clothes or children’s clothes. Even when my church has a clothing exchange l look for unusual prints and fabric that are suitable size prints. I have had 2 doll houses in my life, first one was the tin doll house and the second one was Barbies cardboard townhouse. I have recently purchased the Barbie Malibu Dream house to use as a model for the furniture l am making now. But it has always been my dream to build my own as you have. I love what you have made and you should be very proud of your accomplishments with it. Look forward to see what else you do with it.

Toothpaste cap makes a nice planter . Lid from a spray-can makes a nice table .

I love the dollhouse I have a wooden barbie size dollhouse someone gave me I made alot of the furniture but it isn't as realistic as yours I love the fridge and stove you bought

The fireplace is a masterpiece. Also, LOVE the pix of you & hubs and your wall pictures too. :) The couch is fantastic. Maybe add white piping o it someday? The match on the chair is amazing, too. Great living room rug! The clipped together trunk could go at the foot of a child's bed? It IS an interesting design. Thx for sharing!

loveeee ittt 😭❤️ please film moreee tbh, like i just recently subbed and would love to see more from you tbh 🥺 pls don't stop uploasing and filming vids. this was such a great doll house and inspires me to create my own myself. editing this, you can get lots of mini foods and other doll scale stiff at thrift stores, mini brands, 5 below, target bullseyes section, dollar tree.

The Dollar Tree has bathtubs and toilets toilet is perfect scale, tub is a touch small but that might be ideal with the size of your room. Dollar Tree also has mirrors in the candle section that are perfect for bathroom sink mirror and they have nice patterned peel and stick wallpaper sheets that are perfect for Barbie. And they have a fun outdoor table and chairs with an umbrella, out door lounge chairs and a grill that are fashion doll sized. Not to sound like a stalker but this old lady Barbie collector thinks it would be so cool to share things with you.

I almost forgot to say that all the outdoor furniture they have at Dollar Tree could be used on the roof as a patio

The decorative knob that screws onto the harp to keep the shade in place is called a finial. (My mom owned a lampshade store 😉) Love your dollhouse, very clever and beautifully done!

Did you get the pink clear chairs from the Barbie convention? I have 2 from there as well! Edit: never mind, you explained later in the video lol would love tutorials on some of your furniture pieces
