Great idea! A tip for inside corners when working with pvc: drill a 7/16" hole centered in the corner you have marked before you cut with the saw. Then cut just to the edge of the hole. This way, you leave a radius as the corner instead of a sharp 90 degree. The sharp 90 is a built in fracture point and will fail sooner than an inside radius will. Over time, the plastic flexes and becomes brittle. It is not a matter of if, but when. Thanks for sharing.

This is the BEST! Thank you! My MTB tires are 2.6 and 3.0 29ers. I had some 3" PVC laying around and it worked great. In the install I turned the hanger off square so the handlebar width is in line with my pedals.

If you space your screws correctly, you can also sandwich a velcro between the wall and the stand. This way, no worries that it fall down if upright!

Definitely a sharp idea!! Cost effectiveness does get a bit "gray" if one doesn't have those tools, but for those that are curious - Harbor Freight, all day long!! I suspect (correct me if I'm wrong) in colder environments (winter in MN) if the bikes are stored for a period of time, the tires will 'soften' and possibly lose the connection with the PVC?

Nice one, I am so glad I stumbled upon your video. It is a great idea with little cost involved. I've got a 4" fat tyre e-Bike, quite heavy, and I want to have the bike standing vertically against the wall. I probably need a thicker pipe or possibly a PVC Gutter, but I am sure I can replicate what you did. Worth a try. I was thinking I would add a further stopper at the bottom to ensure the back wheel doesn't roll away from the wall.
