In this video I will show you how to make a pendant with a simple and easy cat done with flat wire and clay.
Materials and tools I used:
-polymer clay black, yellow and red.
- flat wire (1 mm thick, 4mm high and 25 cm long)
- aluminum wire
- paper and pencil
- cutter, blade, scalpel
- Cutting pliers
- Round pliers
- gloss paint
- brush
- oven
Items must be cooked to 110ºC for 20/30 minutes, in a regular oven, following polymer clay manufacturer's instructions.

En este video les enseñaré a hacer un colgante muy simple y fácil con alambre chato y arcilla polimérica. Haremo un simpático gatito
Materiales y herramientas que utilicé:
- arcilla polimérica negra, amarilla y roja
- Alambre chato (1 mm de espesor, alto 4 mm y 25 cm de largo)
- alambre de aluminio
- Papel y lápiz
- pincel
- Barniz
- Cortador, cuchilla o bisturí
- alicates de corte
- pinzas con puntas redondas
- horno
Los objetos deben ser horneados a 110ºC por 20/30 minutos en un horno común, siguiendo las instrucciones del fabricante de la arcilla polimérica.

In questo video vi mostrerò come fare un ciondolo semplice e facile adatto a principianti, con filo metallico piatto e pasta sintetica. Faremo un gatto nero :-)

Gli oggetti devono essere cotti a 110ºC per 20/30 minuti in forno comune, seguendo le istruzioni del produttore della argilla polimerica.

My most favorite animal on the Planet. The Cat, big or small, I love them all... We have 7, all rescued. Rosie, BJ, Bear, Coco, Blue, Shushi and Amber.. My big black Sam cat I lost to Cancer 4 years ago, he was a gentleman. I still miss him. You've made a great cat, Ive a loads of polymer clay kitties, air dried sculptures I've done, and lots of sketches, paintings and drawings I've made over the years lol. hugs xxxx

Yay a black cat! *big grin* I love how this came out. It's perfect. It was a bit bittersweet to watch this too though as I had to bury a cat this morning that had been hit by a car. I don't know whose it was or if he even had a home. He wasn't black either but a gray tabby with black stripes. He was beautiful. I sat after and cried a while. I am glad I noticed him before any vultures did. - Heidi

The metal I used is Alpaca but you can use aluminum or any other metal. I bought it in Argentina, but you can find this flat wire in a craft store with jewelry supplies. You can buy it online too. Google "flat jewelry wire" and you will find it.

+elena degl'innocenti Ciao Elena, io ho usato un ferro di alpaca (argentone) ma l'alluminio va benissimo. Anzi direi che è più facile da lavorare e piegare. Non so se da Brico l'hanno, ma sicuro lo trovi nei negozi per componenti di bigiotteria.

Yes I know... if you love cats you miss them when you lose them. I lost my Fufy seven years ago and I still remember him as a member of my family :-)

+Mo Clay Hi sad news my old cat Rosie had to be put to sleep, on a routine visit to the vet, John X-rayed her, and found advanced cancer of her tummy and bowel. My old girl was close to 20 years old. She'd had a good life. I'm missing her terribly at the moment. I'm going to do her portrait in a week or two when I can concentrate.. thanks hugs xxx
