You made art out of the process of making a piece of art that is used to experience art. I try in my work and life to approach action with the non-attachment recommended by lots of schools of religion. When I think of acting for the benefit of the act itself, and not the reward of the action, your video comes to mind. An appreciation of the beauty and richness in simply experiencing, like shavings piling up like curled fluff around a drill bit, or particulate wisping past a light. is ultimately how non-attachment seems attainable. It's a nice reminder. Thank you!

Hey Kirby, enjoy your videos. A little tip from an old tradesman, the next time you are drilling steel plates, as you were cleaning up at 11.48, tidy up with a much larger drill, to break the edges, and leave the file in the toolbox. Or, get yourself a countersink bit, and put a file handle on it, makes a great tool for breaking the edges of drilled holes. Keep up the good work, and I've given you a thumbs up as well.

Great video. I love the way you show the entire build process and make it look so easy. I know this is an older video, but a little trick I use to remove metal burrs on the back side of the hole is to use a larger drill bit and just turn it on top of the hole I just drilled by hand. It saves time and does almost as good of a job as using files. Keep up the great work.

2:05 where you tape the mitered joints together before gluing? What a freaking brilliant idea! I avoid mitered joints completely because I always have a hard time getting them glued together straight, but your idea would help a lot with that.

I've caught a few cross cut pieces of wood in the video however they're glued into a nice shelf on the end of the speaker so I think they'd likely hold up to more abuse than speakers this great will likely ever see in my life time. His use of tape is brilliant though wish they would've taught that in wood shop.

I am really enjoying your videos and love the builds, but I think you should do the feet in a better way. My two suggestions, ether counter sink the screw heads In to the feet, so that he hey sit below the wood, or prior to glueing the box together, drill out the bottom so you can screw into the top of the feet. I'd imagine that those exposed screws stand a good chance of scratching a desk or shelf they are sitting on. Also, depending on the wood and stain choices, some brass screws could really set off a few speakers.

What is the wiring configuration? I'm assuming stereo for the two midranges, but just a single tweeter? Also, these look to be Dayton RS100's which can be used full range, would you say these could be ran without a tweeter and get a slightly warmer sound? I built a box and recently swapped out the previous amp for the one you recommend, and I do believe the audio quality is significantly better, but it seems to be quite a bit quieter as well. I wish they would come out with a more powerful board in the jab series.
