1 Cup of Cocoa Butter
1 1/2 Cup of Coconut Oil
1 Cup of Sweet Almond Oil
1% Optiphen
1 TBSP of Arrowroot Powder

You can use cosmetics grade/skin safe neon mica powder love. That’s what I use and I purchase mines from Etsy

Can the sweet almond oil be subbed out for another oil, because I’m allergic to almond oil? I’m only asking cause I wasn’t to start making my own body butters, but every recipe I see includes almond oil

Hello love, yes it can, any of the oils and butters can be substituted for another.😘 so the almond oil can be substituted for grapeseed oil, jojoba, olive, any skin safe and moisturizing oil. ❤️

The amount of optiphen you put in is based on how big or small ur batch is. When I first started I didn’t use any preservatives but all of the ingredients are natural and if the body comes in contact with water it can potentially create mold. I put in preservatives to prolong its shelf life because you do not know where your customers store their products or if it will come in contact with water. But yes it’s not necessary to use a preservative, it’s just safer

I just ended up ordering the optiphen just in case. I feel like i cant get a professional product without the use of it so better to be safe then sorry plus I was doing research and saw someone got mold in their bodybutter and I wouldn't want to sell products that could potentially get mold or carry mold in them.
