I love your design for this. I just made one and will make another for mine and my husbands hats. Your tutorial was very easy to follow, although you make it look easier than it is😀. I had to redo the bottom square knots twice to get the correct tension. It’s great to learn how to make new things. Thank you so much for your beautiful works of art.🥨

okay, I started out with 8 x 3.8 meter lengths that were perfectly even after putting on wooden ring. After doing the first bit of knots up to the part of where the hat goes I have 8 extra long ends and 8 bits that are not long enough to go around the hat. What the heck have I done wrong. I followed exactly. lol

@@makailagarretson7708 watching other videos I have worked out you would need to stagger the strands. 1/3 inside length to 2/3 outside length. I used “the green mad house” video to work out length and then redid this project.
