So cute one thing I would change for myself would be to make the closure strap longer so it also holds the pocket closed so nothing slips out of it if it were dropped or dumped upside down or something.im ready to make one now. Thank you for sharing

Wow! What a really great project! This is the first such “crafty” video where they show the importance of PRESSING as you sew. It makes such a superior end-product! I like how well-designed this little pouch/bag is.

Perfect. I especially like how the lining is added…..so easy! Two ways I would make mine differently: 1. I prefer magnetic button for flap. 2. Make the flap longer to cover the pocket below zipper. Thank you for sharing 🤗🤗🤗

And put some interfacing in the strap so it isn't so flimsy and use a purse zipper and make the flap wider.

Or instead of making a longer flap put the zipper where the pocket is and the open pocket above the zipper.

i was just thinking exactly that... i would extend the flap too...{that cos you put the card in there...} also would have used a white or grey velcro... lovely though...

I am the same way, I found it easier to watch it the first time, write down the measurements and then watch the video while sewing. I have done this with several other videos.

And don't let the metric measurements bother you if you aren't familiar with them. Most tape measures and rules have those numbers as well!

This is an excellent lesson to make a cellphone pouch. Everything is perfect and you are a good sewer. The lines are so straight and clean. Very easy to make...but we need the instructions written down for us to follow...list it all including measurements right at the beginning of the video. Thank you!

Finally, after watching this video 100 times and taking notes, I made this today! I have a few flaws, not sure what happened but the front piece ended up being an inch too short. I cut the rest of the pieces to match and it worked out fine, but next time I’ll measure more carefully. I added a button closure to mine and didn’t put the strap over the zipper because I want access to the zipper without having to unbutton the strap each time. I will definitely make more of these but will add my own personal touches! Thank you so much for this tutorial!!
