I really like your innervation. Those pews came up a treat. If I can offer a tip though, invest in a router to cut down on sanding time also to recess the seat an back into the sides to conseal the joins. Never get wood glue on stained wood and finally make a solid reusable jig for all components to make it quicker to replicate more pews.

Thank you the tutorial! My house is from the last 1800's and used to be a church! I want a pew so bad to go in our massive hallway but used ones around here are $300+.. I've got all my farmhouse decor ready to go up on the walls but refuse to start until I get a church pew. I'm tackling this project this weekend! I made my own gingerbread trim for a house we had and I did scallops and drilled holes in the lower edge of the scallops and on in the high side. I loved the way it looked!
