I'm just here browsing for a natural lip gloss for my daughter to make for a school project and this by far seems the simplest and really good. Thank you so much.

One tip i got from another KZfaq channel is to put a few spoons in the freezer, then you can dip the frozen spoon into your hot mixture to test how thick it will be when it cools do you can adjust your ingredients. That came out do clear and pretty though!

I thnk if you put the base in the freezer for a little longer it will get thicker or if you take it out after 10 mintues and stir then put it back in it will be thicker. (Just some sugestions)

That's pretty cool! Try and see if you can do it without the baby oil. Try it with coconut oil, caster oil and beeswax.

Its not hard for u to come up with YOUR OWN measurements ! Lazy asses just want everything handed to you. You will not have a successful business for long if u ask everyone for everything.

If you want a more opaque and less clear color version of this, use coconut oil! I use coconut oil, shea butter, vitamin E oil, and obviously beeswax. :)

Please do not use baby oil for anything on your lip!!! It is external use only. Just use mineral oil because the fragrance in baby oil should not be ingested. This is smart asl tho

Heat all of your oils together with the beeswax so it doesn't start to solidify when you add cooler oils into the hot wax. Great video. Thanks!

FYI-Baby oil is mineral oil with fragrance it’s better to use pure mineral oil and you can find it at your local pharmacy section it is used as a natural laxative and sold plain without scent in the first aid section .

Double broiler method.. place a large pot of water on stove, set the large bowl of base into the water it’ll melt it in larger batches

I think it's awesome that you take the time to make video tutorials most people wouldn't take the time to share this type of information. After seeing a few of your videos I wanted to bring to your attention that Baby Oil is a hydrocarbon and should never be used on the skin; and if it's inhaled for whatever reason can be even more harmful. So needless to say I was a bit nervous when you heated up this product. It's suppose to be a highly purified Mineral Oil another substance that should never be used on skin, but sadly we all know that products here are not as filtered or purified as they should be. Also another item that should never be used on the skin is Petroleum Jelly... Please be careful!

If you use a double boiler you can warm your oils WITH your beeswax.

You should have put the whole glass bowl over hot water as in bain marie, then go your thing.

20% bees wax, 80% oils... (For less thick consistency) 35% bees wax, 65% oils.. to make a thick (consistency)

I'm assuming the beeswax is the thickening agent so I'd add more of that next time to keep it from being watery. And I wonder if there is something we can replace the mineral oil with because it's not very good you
