DIY Concrete Fairy House Lamp 🏡 Tree Stump House

5 жыл бұрынIf you're looking for a creative way to spruce up your home, look no further than this DIY concrete fairy house lamp! This lamp is made from concrete and painted to look like a tree stump, and it's perfect for adding a touch of magic to any room in your house or for outdoor decoration.
It's an awesome cement craft project you can make at home!! To make this project I use mainly cement, sand and LED string lights. I use acrylic paint for painting all my craft projects. N°38

2 cups Ordinary Portland Cement + 1 cup Sand + Water

Note: To avoid cracks, while the concrete project is drying, be careful not to expose it to the sun. It is better to cover it with a cloth to slow down the drying.

In my culture, usually we bury baby’s placenta in the garden as it was once a “home” for our baby. This would be a perfect tomb for it ❤️

I absolutely love that u make cute fairy houses out of cement, they always turn out so beautiful! U make it look so easy too, but I know how difficult working with cement can be. So for u to be able to make a cute house out of cement is just awesome!

Awesome! As usual. I made one so similar and finished it about a month ago; except that mine is made from clay, so can only go out in the garden in the summer months. Yours can go outside whatever the season, and it is truly beautiful! I'm definitely gonna emulate yours with cement. Thank you so much for the inspiration! You're amazing! :)

Hello I have been following this tutorial trying to make my own version of this very cool fairy house and I am about half way through the sculpting process. I have a question, when you started the painting process, did you use a sealer or undercoat paint first? Or was that just ordinary white acrylic paint?
