This Dining table is made out of Acacia Planks, as you see i didt use a electric planer because i dont know yet the technique on using it.
and also the geometric abstract design is not just for design it also serve as a support for the table, many blog and forum indicates that acacia wood is super malikot (always moving).

tip: when you make a groove on the end of the part with a milling cutter, it is inconvenient to hold it, a small reference plane. press another wide board, or two, against the part, aligning them along the edge of the part. so the support area will be larger and it will be easier to hold the milling cutter smoothly.

Yes, and the thing is i dont know how to use electric planer, thank god i have a sander.

@@DASantos ... An electric hand planer would not help you with such a large piece "D". You would have to run it through a planing table machine from both sides to get it equally flat over the whole surface. I would assume a machine of that size is beyond your limitations of the space you have available and economically not feasable for you as you would not need it that often (they surely cost tens of thousands of $). What I didn't understand is when you cut out the groove with the router, why did you not run the router through one more time to remove the remaining wood in the middle instead of doing it by hand with a hammer and chiesel? Not that it really matters ...just curious. All in all a successful project. The wood had a nice grain. Do you know what kind of wood it is please and what kind of wood did you use to fill in the groves? It seemed to be a softer wood. Your welds are looking better too BTW. 😉
