I liked the lantern and tried making it. But i am not getting the smooth frosty effect as you got. Mine looks patchy. Can you please tell the proportion of white acrylic colour and water

Use a bit more water than white acrylic paint. Avoid applying too much paint on the sponge, and use a tapping motion to apply it until you achieve a smooth finish
