Very clever idea much easier I had I bought the pumpkin frame like whenever find materials to make it and then I tried all the instructions I seen was very difficult eventually I didn't make it thank you for sharing I can make this thank you

This DT pumpkin form is so versatile, you should use finger protector, I really got some nasty burns from my hot glue gun, bad blisters for a little bit. I learned my lesson. Be safe when crafting. I love the color combo, very nice.

DT sells the silicone thimbles to protect fingers from hot glue. You can find them in the craft section. Can't miss em. They are pink!

Hobby Lobby has the smaller version of the pumpkin wreath wired race. I'm gonna go get 2 of them and make a double-sided Reese. Put a lighter color on the background. Where you did the green and put candles in there.

Sorry about the music but there’s not much selection with copyright free. The ribbon is 3-5” but I’d recommend 4”. It was a tight stretch at the ends.

What size ribbon did you use, because 2.5 will not fit

Hi I did this video last Fall but I believe I did use 2.5” ribbon but with difficulty. I had to bend the bars closer. I recommend using wider ribbon then I did. If the ribbon is wider than the bars then wrap the ribbon around the bar and glue from behind.

will it hold outside with hot glue?

It should, I’ve never had an issue with hot glue. With that being said, if you’re in a high heat and sunny all the time the glue could get melty. For high end projects I like Gorilla glue sticks (I buy on Amazon). If you’re really worried about it you could use clear contact cement (sold in small squeeze tube). That stuff holds anything. My outdoor ceramic birdbath planter fell to pieces this year. I used that stuff and it’s been holding perfectly.

Why didn't you do the green first giving yourself clean edges at the ends? I really liked it until you put that ribbon trim around the whole thing. Like you mentioned, possibly a rope might look better. Also I don't think it needs that backing. And if I were going to put the backing on I would put the backing on before the ribbon that went around the whole outside to help cover up the backing that you can clearly see from the side if you get close enough. As soon as you put that ribbon on it it became very homemade looking. And not in a good way. But I love the concept in the idea! Thank you!

I did the green first because I wanted the minimum amount showing. It would’ve been better if my ribbon at the ends was 1/2” wider to wrap around the frame. The backing was an afterthought. I didn’t want to add but I could see through the ribbon and needed the weight to help it stand. I’ve had other idea’s since the making of this one like: material wrapped around the back or attaching to a wooden stand.
