Yes!! So glad I'm not the only person who goes to the Dollar Tree for party supplies! I did my wedding like that in 2009, and people doubted I could do it without looking tacky. Mine looked nice, and this looks even better!!

It turned out very nice and would make lovely arrangements for wedding centerpieces as well if done in white? I would recommend putting a battery operated set of lights inside to light them up. In order for the foam ball to stay in place, you can push it into the glass container about 1/2 inch creating a ditch in the foam, prior to adding flowers.

Did this for My Daughter's Wedding, --Used Newspapers & Green sheets ( FREE) and Rolled into a Circle, & Taped it down instead of the Foam Balls, & covered them in Red Tissue paper & Hot glued the Roses to the Balls...every one was amazed when I told them it was newspaper,

I love your idea! However, I am averse to silk florals because often, when you buy a bunch of them, there are disfigured blossoms in the bunch. These drive me crazy! I found a solution that costs just about as much: foam roses! They are always perfect (if you unpack them as soon as they arrive in the mail).
