You did a fabulous job and just to note that in the '40s yellow was very important. So the daisies were perfectly used for a wedding because yellow ribbons were being tied so that those soldiers that went off to war came back safe and sound to their sweethearts. I think you did such a beautiful job as well with the little birdhouse. Everything was so clever and so pretty. You've got my vote😊

Your birds look amazing!❤ The last thing that I remember painting was a eucalyptus vine that I painted up a growth chart that I made for a friend's daughter. It turned out beautifully! My parents were married after WW2 in the 40s. Mom carried a large orchid tied to a white Bible (the same Bible that held my bridal bouquet).

I loved that you chose a theme so all your diys were cohesive. That is a sign of knowledge and creativity! I thought the bouquet looked real, which in my book makes it a win. I was excited to hear you lament about painting. I am the same exact way. I can make anything but if i have to paint i become a basket case.

"Again, I am no artist," she says as she is creating beautiful art! I loved all of the diys, but I think my favorite is the flower hanging piece! I love that you chose wedding themes, weddings are just so magical in my opinion! I do wish you would have included the inspo photos from the 40s so we could also see them. I did know exactly what you're talking about because collecting vintage photos is my hobby, but I think a visual aid would help all of us :)

Loved everything but if I had to choose a favorite I think the bouquet, the flower basket were the ones that looked more challenging but came out so beautiful and expensive looking. I also loved the love birds craft. The birds came out adorable and you do have painting skills. You definitely didn’t look like you were struggling. I can’t draw a branch the way you did lol.
