Thank you! I had a lot of fun with this. It was my first big project and gave me confidence. I've only been making miniatures for less than 2 years. I wish I had discovered this passion sooner in life but I'm grateful to have discovered it at all. It's so much fun.

@@littlegretchensworkshop7665 I just crunched the numbers and I've actually only been at this for 1 year, 4 mos. When did you get into minis? I've always loved miniatures and I've made random miniatures throughout the years. I made a cardboard dollhouse as a kid, a mini Corgi from clay when I was 18, mini window boxes in my early 20s, mini magazine rack with magazines a few years ago...the passion was there but I didn't realize it was something I could do all the time like I do now

@@queencityminis I've always loved dolls and dollhouse as long as I can remember. I used to make cardboard ones for Barbie, then at the age of 10 my father bought me mu Original dollhouse. My 1st 12th scale house and that was IT .....Its been 46yrs. 😄NOW !!! Still in LOVE!!!!☺

Ughhh I’m having flashbacks from watching you cut with that exacto knife…I needed to remove the legs of a cabinet I bought because they were crooked! The knife slipped & sliced my finger 😳😬😭 OUCH it truly felt like I hit a nerve, a pain I’ve never felt before…to this day, it feels sorta numb in & around the cut! Thank god it didn’t get infected, healed up nice! I’m now extra EXTRA careful when using a razor blade knife!!!!! 😳😳😳

Yikes! That is intense. I've nicked myself a couple times but nothing serious. It's so easy to get engrossed in what you're doing and forget elementary knife safety.

I love this project! And let me just say that I really appreciate so much that you don't edit out the little "mistakes"! I love that you take us through how to save the model, and they make little fun unexpected plot twists. The tiny towel flying had me laughing so hard hahaha Excited to see what you come up with next! ps: the tiny broom has my entire heart! hahaha

Great video!! I laughed so much when that towel blew away and thought phew it isn't only me that does things like that. Also the wrought iron window grate from doll house fencing is just perfect!!

Hehehe, probably due to a whack from a broom as someone was chasing the mouse. My mom broke a broom several years ago when she was whacking after a little field mouse that had gotten into our city apartment many years ago.

This was the first class I ever took (I've only taken two but I'm taking a virtual class in a few days). It was SO much fun. This kit is such a pleasure to work with. It's easy and leaves lots of room for creativity. I like that it isn't too big bc it isn't overwhelming. It's a great project

You can do it! You can always use a product called tacky wax or museum wax to temporarily hold things in place if you don't want to commit to gluing things inside the wine box. Just have fun and decorate it. You can always change it later. It doesn't have to look perfect the first try.

I'm right in the middle of making a sewing room diorama. I know it sounds daft but I was stuck on two items: a dressmakers mannequin and an old fashioned flat iron ( you know the Victorian black metal ones you used to heat up in front of the fire?) in the end I modelled them from polymer clay, but it was very tricky. Is there any chance you could do your take on a sewing room either abandoned or what ever you fancy - I'd love to see how you overcome making some of the items. .
